They look like clown shoes. The shape looks awful and what's with the blue pull tab on the zipper?
But I also have to consider the source, Spike ruins a lot of kicks

Spike would look like a clown even if he was barefoot.

Anyone else notice that the XX8s have the same 'banana boat/clown shoe' last as the KB VIIIs? Mamba was rockin' an all-black VIII the last game and his shoe toeboxes were curled up like Spike's too.

Read a post a while back that there would be a $315 version of these. Thats definitely a lot of $$$ but If there is a version that expensive, it would be cool if the shroud was all leather!! Something to pontificate!

I love these kicks but JB is crazy if they think anybody is gonna pay $300+ for these w/Nike plus. These really have no casual appeal, so the regular guy coppin is gonna cop on discount to ball in

what., specifically, on this shoe makes them worth that recommended retail?

i mean, we all know they will be instantly on discount shelves, but where do jb get off by pricing them like this when they bring nothing new to the table besides a stinkyfunky look.
