I get you and I say this to anyone about spending. Unless you are their mom/dad why care for how a person spends the money they have? It's nice to show people "care" about one another but they can't dictate how others spend their cash

The SE is basically the XX8 without the shroud. Cushion, fit, etc. You're paying $100 dollars more just for shroud in the XX8.
Had JB release these in solid color like the black that we've seen or an all white version. I'm confident they would sell out at $150

thoughts on the hundred dollar "shrouds" stitched at the back??
I honestly think this price point was set when we thought these would have Nike+ in them and they just decided to see if they could still get away with it

Well it is the schoeller mesh and I looked up the company they make pretty high end stuff. The fact it's on a jordan is dope ..this is probably the best shrouded shoe to date ...worth every penny IMO

Not much haha it's suppose to wick sweat away from a target area but it doesn't work in this application overall I think it improves the fit and it looks cool I have always liked zipper shoes...and don't ever have to worry about laces getting untied

When it's zipped halfway the containment gets better. Fully zipped is even better but not necessary. And the shroud actually costs Nike 100 yd or sq.ft (can't remember exactly) so I'm sure thats why they have the higher price tag and the SE is less.

The pricepoint of $250 included the nike + system. The original product description clearly stated this That part was scrapped but they kept the pricepoint the same to see if they could get away with it and set the internet hype machine in motion and seems like it worked The shroud is not worth $100 dollars guys.

Nothing you buy worth the dollar amount being paid.....that being said nike plus hurts my feet like hell I'm glad they did not include it

got my first pair of xx8 for a steal on ebay. They are in the mail im genuinely excited for them. Gotta love when people forget to put jordan in the title or be discriptive at all.
