yeah.. I like em but midsole cracks too easy.. like someone else said looks like midsole is about to crumble..
 
Even though I prob wouldn't wear with the pink laces it would of been a nice touch like the air max Jrs
 
I looked at Cam's larger pics then looked at my kicks. Is it just me or are these more of a dark grey or charcoal color? That kind of disappointed me. Still nice though.

IMO, no...if anything, you'd get a few "wrinkles" by the front...nothin major, though...I've worn my other color time & time again and they hold up well. 
Only issue, like most of NIKE's painted soles, is the chipping....once it flexes, it bubbles...and when it does that, you know what's next...

THIS!  This is a serious issue on my royal/volts.  Looks like the midsole is crumbling, when it's actually just the white paint chipping. It's not as bad on my black/white/teals.

Copped them today. I love the colors and this is my favorite Griffey style. Dude tried to sell me the "Dont Sweat My Swag" tshirt too lmaoooooo
 
I am in love with almost all Max 1 Cw's... with that being said this is an easy pass for me.

What I don't understand if you are going to do a SB thing... why not do it right?

Copped my pair today as well. The colors are subtle, so it works for me... as opposed to the Juniors. Funny, guy was really pushing the same matching shirts on me. Had to tell him I don't buy shirts that say swag on them.
 
This is a pass on my favorite sneaker of all time. Hell I have a practically have a new pair of Fresh waters and had they released them again I would have copped without hesitation. As others have said do something to honor the greatest Baseball player of his era and for crying out loud be creative. I'm not looking for the South Beach color scheme thrown on anything and everything. This classic didn't need that.

Ya'll gotta understand that everybody aint worried about "classic colorways".... 
NIKE gave ya'll that...in ALL 3 OG colors, so why is everybody still complaining? 

This culture would be extra boring if ALL we had were OG colors. Some may be overkill, but I'm all for change. Get sick of Nike re-retroing the same @+%% over & over again like Neon '95's, Black/Red XI's, etc....they're just beating a dead horse.

How would you say the fit and sizing is on these if you got anything to compare them too lets say cement 4's or playoff/obsidian 12's or a lebron 9 fit and sizing never had griffeys before always wanted to cop but never got to them so may need a little help as I will order a pair soon thx in advance!!!
 
wasn't planning on getting these...but walked into finishline and the manager let me stack coupons with the reward card, so came out to $100+tax...why not
