college kid grind is real.

In the middle of it right now.

Billing address thing is annoying as hell.

Whenever the parents come up they have a couple packages.

I went through the same **** but instead, they opened the packages resulting in me getting an earful

But she aint a college kid though. That was her point. ...spending wisely in college.
I dont follow your point.

It is what's called "a joke." I was pointing out the irony of someone who spends a healthy chunk of change on shoes joking that someone (anyone, really) shouldn't spend their money on shoes. Irony.

Then it's not a joke it's a judgement

All these statements have been judgments. For all we know the college kid's parents are billionaires and don't care how much he spends on shoes... Why is anyone telling someone else how to spend money even jokingly?

If his parents were billionaires I doubt he would care much for the sale

Lolololol. The point is... Packer won't ship to me so I won't be spending any money. No worries folks.

Alp the detective!

Naa but for real no one should judge anyone else on how they spend money. If you are in college or a billionaire. Everyone's situation is different. I basically get paid to be at school (RA and some scholarship) my parents are financially in a good spot so I can spend a little money I make during the summer and not worry

Let's just all be friends. [emoji]128076[/emoji][emoji]128175[/emoji]

It's "observational humor". I couldn't care less how someone spends their $$$, it's their $$$ they can spend it however they want. Be it you, me, Gator or a college kid. I wasn't passing any judgement, merely pointing the irony of Gator judging how he should be spending (or not spending) his.

She did use the  face meaning she was joking when judging him. Maybe I should have  to punctuate the humor of my observation rather than a knee-slapping Bradley Cooper? Then y'all wouldn't have your knickers in a twist?

;-p

You missed the point. It's OK

 yup, dudes always worrying about how others spend their money. As long as dude ain't spending money in a way that comprises his health (buying shoes instead of food and guy starves for weeks, or something along those lines) nobody should care what he spends his bread on except his parents/girl/very good friend

First off  why are you blowing it up? Dude clearly saw I was just messing with him.... Idk why y'all fail to see the same?? If I was really judging I wouldn't have offered a solution to his problem.

Everybody just calm down please

You did bring up a funny point though, saying college students are broke. I'm in college and am nowhere near broke. Obviously with no tax paying job I don't make crazy money but not broke (can buy 2-3 pairs of kicks a week, gamble etc.

calling ppl broke is (not intentionally, but still) disrespectful.

dawg... please tell me where I called him broke. Please tell me where I called college students IN GENERAL broke. I graduated from Howard University, if anybody know about college kids dropping serious money on clothes and shoes it's me.

You're creating a problem when there isn't one. You ballin'. You fly. You good. Nobody coming for you boo boo.

Never said you did but the way the conversation turned it had ppl insinuating that. Just needed to clear the air. Whether you're a college student or 70 year old man if you can't manage yourself you'll be broke.

your first quote had "YOU did bring up a funny point tho, saying college kids are broke"

your second quote says "never said you"

Actually you did say it was me... then you went back on it. That's the part that's ironic.

That's ironic too lol, I was more referring to someone claiming to buy 2-3 pairs a week of shoes in college (so $10-20k a year roughly?) trying to tell us about managing money or going broke.

I went through college on a full ride and had a little part-time gig too but no way was I pulling in an additional 10k a year along with school and basketball.
