Dredd (2012) Trailer - Karl Urban,Lena Headey

Movie was good.  The action could of been better though.  The violence/shootings/gore was excellent though.
 
DREDD Series On Netflix Is Now One Step Closer To Becoming A Reality

Talking during his panel Saturday afternoon at Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo, star Karl Urban revealed that "conversations are happening" about a DREDD series at either Netflix or Amazon, a sign perhaps that all that fan support has finally begun to pay off.

I would've preferred another movie but this should be just as dope.

Hopefully Urban can get more shine here.

I think nowadays everything doesn't have to be a movie. These series are seriously A1 especially Netflix ones. Some of those special effects and fight scenes are better than the movies

I'm just talking about a simple sequel to the first movie. That's common enough in Hollywood. I liked what they were going for there and it sure as he'll matched the comic better.

I have no doubt Netflix will continue with their quality. This will however be another 13 hrs for me to digest/enjoy. Not complaining but on Netflix alone I'm logging something crazy like 117 hrs of show watching.

Yeah id want that sequel but do you think enough people would want to be interested for them to do it?
 
I really don't think a sequel will make money, would probably make less than the first which cost $50mil to make and only made $35mil worldwide.

Big props to Urban though to be willing to leave the helmet on the whole film, would be curious if it'll be the same case for the show (likely not).
