Huarache Light Retro...Kinda.

i have never been a big fan of the free outsoles, especially on the huarache models. if these had a lunarlon sole I wouldnt mind the hybrid effort as much
 
There's a few pairs on eBay of the ultramarine cw. Anybody seen these in a store yet? Figure they'll pop up any day now.
 
Yeah I'm waiting to see these in store, although if I wait long enough I'll probably be able to pick these up on sale.
 
NDC has the grey/black/infrared pair available now. I went ahead and ordered a pair. Want to see them in person and how they fit. Hopefully won't be long till the ultramarines come out.
 
I love the picture the Champs has picked to use for these.... They chose some cramped deformed one, I hope this is a turnoff to those who browse and these land in clearance eventually... a few pair of these under retail would be a great casual summer shoe.

Received my pair from NDC today. Pretty happy with them. They run pretty narrow, especially in the toe box. Also a little short length wise. Most people should probably go a 1/2 size up.
 
I hope they end up being like those Kukini Frees, but since that ultramarine is a pretty loved color way, I may pull the trigger before my size disappears.

I'm gonna order a 10.5 to see if it fits better, because my TTS 10 is just a little to short on my right foot.

i dont have a problem with the free soles but what i do have a problem with is how nike will release em with the original soles a year & 1/2 later once i've already bought mine...

its always a cash grab with them...
 
I had some ebay bucks that were going to expire soon and found a seller with them for under retail, pulled the trigger since no one around me got these in adult sizes. Found a few spots with GS sizes though oddly enough.
 
also 3rd colorway added to NDC .... I must say these colorways in the mens sizes have been 3 solid releases thus far.... would Love to see the blk/white release now

i recommend going .5 size up on these. the padding around the ankle and heel is very full and stiff so it pushes your foot upwards towards the toe box. these things fit like a glove once on, which also makes them kind of hard to put on in the first place lol.

Previous Huarache family releases have fit my foot like that too, glad I went a half size up on these. Should be a great spring time shoe.
 
Got my pair in yesterday, glad I went up half a size, it'd have been WAY too snug if I went with my normal size. If these hang around long enough for deep discounts in my size I may pick up another pair, although that wolf grey/infrared pair isn't bad either so I could settle for that too.
 
no problem. 

i personally don't like hybrids, but i don't mind this free sole hybrid. outside of a few details from the OG (black lace triangles and lack of logo on the pull tab) they look pretty good imo. plus, the free sole from the free run are comfortable, so that's something i can't argue with. 
 
Waiting for the Black/Squadron Green pair to go on sale or for a nice % off code w/ free shipping :nerd:.

This looks like the perfect shoe I can just slip on in the morning to walk my dog
