.BRUH! The Michael Jackson episode had me in tears! Tonight was SOLID. This will be an Epic Series
However long this show lasts, I love it! Still haven't seen the live-action film, though. Neither the new one or old one.
Its actually a prequel to the movie. Bullhorn was killed by Dr. Wu.I think the show is very well done IMO. Perfect continuation from where the movie left off. I can see why some people won't like this show because its based off the Afrocentric era of the 70's. If you're younger or not familiar with the culture of that era you wont understand some of the references an thereforenot appreciate the comedy.
With that being said the show has some room for growth. It's 4 shows in and I think some people's expectations are a little misguided because you're comparing this show to classic TV shows of the past. Let this show develop as it will allow you to fully appreciate it for what it is. I personally think it'll be great and at the same time tell a bigger narrative about some of the crazy things going on in that era of blaxploitation.
I feel like they do way too much on this show and it does the movie zero justice
Not when it seems forced, I understand it's the cartoon world but it's just not funny to me compared to the movieCompletely disagree, this show is just as over the top as the movie. The movie was enjoyable becasue it took a comedic and over the top approach the the blaxploitation genre.
What does that even mean... "they do too much with this show." Shouldn't they do as much with the show as they can?
For those that never saw the original move. Here's the trailer
There needs to be a Giddy Up episode ..
The first 2 episodes were solid
give it a chance brah
Amazon ******* on the moon
OJ Simpson
"I threw that rock before I left the moon!"
Last 2 episodes weren't as hilarious as the first 2.
Still lulz, nonetheless.
