Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom  (also known as Jurassic Park 5  or Jurassic World 2) is an upcoming American science fiction  adventure film. It is a sequel to the 2015 filmJurassic World, and the fifth installment in the Jurassic Park  film series. Derek Connolly  and Jurassic World  director Colin Trevorrow  both return as writers, and J. A. Bayona  takes over director duties. It will be produced by Frank Marshall, Patrick Crowley and Belén Atienza. Trevorrow and original Jurassic Park  director Steven Spielberg  are executive producers.

Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard  and B. D. Wong  will reprise their roles from the previous movie, along with newcomers Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, Justice Smith, Daniella Pineda, Ted Levine, Geraldine Chaplin  and James Cromwell; additionally, Jeff Goldblum  will reprise his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm  from the original film and its 1997 sequel. Universal Pictures  has scheduled the film for release in the United States on June 22, 2018.

The release date is unknown right now but is rumored for 2014.

Or Jurassic Period plants.  Probably reaching the height of 50 feet, turning these dino's into peaceful living animals

If that's the writing team, I'm on board. Rise of Planet of the Apes was good.
 
Nothing is ever gonna top the first one. The effects, the characters, the timing, everything was perfect.

I still remember being like 6 and watching that T-Rex scene in the theater with my parents.

I was dumbstruck/excited x infinity...couldn't wait to talk about it with my group at school on Monday lol.
 
JP1 kind of changed my life when I was a kid. Made me realize that cinema could take you places if you just bought into what they were trying to do. I had all of the toys, the movies and read about dinosaurs for years.
I really hope they don't go this rumored route of part 4 being about militarized dinosaurs. They need to stay on the island.
 
movie still holds up great. still one of the if not the G.O.A.T. theatre experience. still looks amazing.
