Official Jurassic World Thread | Jurassic World: Dominion 6/10/22

The premise is MUCH better than "let's find a random kid that got lost" like they did with 3. The only real problem with this movie is that Jurassic park 1 was THAT good.

If you think about it, that's kind of the premise of the last TWO movies. Not so much in Lost World because of the whole InGen thing, but Malcolm only goes because Sarah Harding went ahead alone, and he's basically rescuing her.

2 gets a semi pass because it does kinda make sense to go back and get the dinosaurs or at least see what happened. Was it a good movie? Ehhh, not really but it was ok. 3 was just a head scratcher. Like why are you going there AGAIN??

That's why I think this movie actually does kinda make sense. At some point they'll either bomb the islands or fix them

Now the question is if the plot will hold for however long the movie is. To me it doesn't seem to have enough substance

To be fair, Grant was under the impression they were just doing an aerial tour of the island. He got duped mid-flight.

Also, I'll defend the first two-thirds of Lost World as a very good popcorn flick. The gymnastics routine and beyond is where I check out.

And the CGI is still improving as expected, comparison from the first trailer to the newest one

Trailer is dope...I'm ready for it.....

Body is ready. Ultron and Furious 7 the only two movies I'm anticipating more.
