^ if sam comes back he's going to have one missing arm, minimum.

supposedly its been confirmed by scientist that raptors had feathers and were actually the size of turkeys

the ending was pretty much a WWE ending.
attitudes like this is why the creativity in our entertainment has become so watered down

from movies to music to tv

why we keep getting remake after remake and reboots or rehashes

ugh

feel free to 'let those things go'
not me

yup it sucks, how do you deal with the watered down world?

Long time ago now lol I actually thought these films always did a good job of dealing with that by pointing out that these are genetically engineered dinosaurs, not the natural things from millions of years ago.

Yea, pointing out how all the dinosaurs on Jurassic World are genetically engineered is how they're going around all the new discoveries. They're not just blatantly ignoring the discoveries IRL

Saw a few comments about the product placement.... you guys are more so talking about the subtle things like the cars right? Although i did smirk at Chris Pratt drinking a coke lol.

But I feel the movie itself spelled out the theme park overall was heavily backed by corporations. I dont think that was suppose to escape us. The scene with the two suits being pitched to about sponsoring a dinosaur and all that for example

I think they were moreso showing contrast between the new owner and the old one with some of that stuff.

^ I think they are just showing how theme parks today are. If you goto Disneyland/Universal Studios theres Starbucks, Panda Express, Cinnabon etc.

Yea man, the whole point is to show that Jurassic World is just another theme park. Ej. Whole crowds of people looking bored, dudes being all chill, being on the phone and whatnot

Lol, the movie was even more enjoyable the second time I watched it. RPX or IMAX is the only way to do this movie :pimp:

JW destroying the box office and beating records.

The official final numbers have yet to arrive, but The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Universal's epic dinosaur sequel had a bigger Father's Day weekend than expected bringing in over $104 million over the course of its second weekend, a slighly higher total than the $103.1 million collected by Marvel's The Avengers in 2012 during its second weekend. Additionally, the Colin Trevorrow-directed picture cleared $400 million at the domestic box office on Sunday in a record-shattering 10 days, once again beating out The Avengers, which needed 14 days.

Additionally, sometime today, Jurassic World will become the fastest film ever to cross the $1 billion mark at the worldwide box office beating the record-breaking performance of Universal's other major blockbuster of the year, the Vin Diesel/Paul Walker-starrer Furious 7. The Chris Pratt-starrer is now the 22nd member of the billion-dollar club and the third film this year to cross the milestone number.

Saw the OG in theaters when I was 5, the first movie I ever remember seeing. Couldn't wait to see this. Some thoughts.

- In TLW, they talk of clearing the island of both organic & inorganic property. This was supposed to be the same Rex from JP, but she should not have been alive. (Don't get me wrong, i'm thrilled she was in this).

- Did they ever give a reason for the raptors coming back to Owens side? Seemed weird to me that they just flip flopped like that.

- Why did they enter the iRex paddock? you would think they would check directly outside the enclosure for footprints.

Overall, loved it, even though the plot was predictable, it did not disappoint.

they entered the iRex paddock because they thought it escaped

.

the 2nd and 3rd dont really exist in this universe of jurassic world..it's really a direct sequel

the only reference fo the other sequels is the OG trex breaking through spinosaurus bones before the end fight as a wink of fan service for those mad that trex was killed by the spinosaurus in jp3

obviously, but why don't you check outside the enclosure for footprints? call the control center to check it's tracking device instead of driving out? and then instead of opening the man sized doors, you open the huge ones :smh: felt silly to me.

Since Jurassic Park, they've been using genes of other animals to fill in the gaps in the genetic sequence of all the dinosaurs. That's their explanation to get around the feathers thing.

Lol, sounds like Trevorrow doesn't even know his own script or jurassic park history. They hinted at the feather controversy in the movie.

The recurring theme of JP is that these are not even real dinosaurs. They're the creation of imagination and public perception. They just don't do a good job expressing that idea past the first movie
