im looking for a new bank, but im not too happy with the montlhy service fees they require.. which bank do you guys have and why do you like that bank? what are the pros and cons?

PNC Virtual Wallet is excellent. Checking, backup checking, and savings. Excellent online banking, you can move money around to different accounts. A lot of apps for online banking that help you manage and save money.
-Money Bar sets how much you have a month to spend and how much are for bills
-There is a direct deposit automatic transfer thing where you can set it to move a certain amount of money from your checking to savings every time you get paid

i need to check this out

I've been with my credit union for 3 years now and have a checking, savings and credit card with them. They have good programs if you are thinking about getting a loan and I can cash out money with no fees from 7/11, Costcos and a few other places without a fee. The only downside is that there is really only 2 - 3 locations near me.

Pnc virtual wallet sounds like pure dopeness...

**%! wells Fargo... all they do is nickel and dime me.

I have BOA, lots of locations no fees
i have a savings and checkings with them dont use it for anything else so i wouldnt know loan programs, etc.
also convenient with smartphone with doing transfers and purchases online

...baffles my mind how this question/thread keeps popping up and people keep suggesting another BANK like Credit Unions dont exist.

...ive been using Credit Unions since 1998 and have never in my life had any type of monthly service fee......EVER

...and before someone chimes in with the "my bank doesnt charge service fees", yeah well, neither did alot of banks until recently. with banks they entice you with advertising no service fees, get you in, then its only a matter of time before they do. then you're on the hunt for another bank to start the process all over again.
