I agree with you in the sense that a lot of people hate on shoes simply because they're not OG.
Though, I think the Black Cements (regardless of them being OG or not) are so much better looking. They're both black based shoes but these do not even come close.

But its the truth man, JB knows most of us young people are gonna cop this shoe due to the way they styled the colorway and the hype of the 3s. Now am I going to buy it? Nah, rather stick to the OG colorways because there's a history behind every retro shoe, which makes me wish I was born in the 80s, (91) but oh well.
