the purple will grow on people, certainly doesn't bother people on the Charcoal 7's right? and the purple is darker here

I disagree, I love the Charcoal 7's and so far I hate these I think your comparing apples to oranges. The 7's just work, the purple is not too loud and doesn't take away from the rest of the shoe. Also comparing the percent of purple on those to these, the 3's have way more purple on them. To me the purple is out of place its on the bottom, and on the elephant print which is a big distraction from the rest of the shoe. As I said in my previous post, if the purple parts on these 3's were black, this shoe would be a bred 3 and be very dope. These so far are looking like junk... :x

Anyways, I hope JB changes the sole to black.

Not going to cop, but I like these. I've learned my lesson this year. I didn't save up any money, even though I knew 2012 was going to be filled with heat, and now my wallet is starving. :frown: but 2013 is going to be filled with heat and I have knowlege!

I don't think the sole will be a noticeable purple when you're wearing them, it will probably look black in feet until the bottoms start wearing.
 
I could deal with the purple, but I'm annoyed at the pleather they use so.....I guess my retro strike continues, unfortunately

Ok, not a great comparison, but honestly, the purple is so dark its hardly noticeable to me, and i really can barely tell on the elephant print.

Oh well, i don't mind them, i mean they could have made it brighter, then you'd have a problem
 
These caught my eye for a second...then I noticed the purple.  Completely ruined 'em.  Out of place.  Guess my list for 2013 is staying as is for now.
