In my opinion, Jordan sneakers should evoke memories of Michael Jordan AND the teams he played for. These really don't do either in my opinion. Since they don't, they should at LEAST look decent. These don't.
 
Like these in person. Maybe because its not the usual red that 90% of the Jordan's are released with

Yeah if all that purple was black, these would be serious. They quite possibly could have been an amazing looking shoe, Like OG looking status. Leave it to JB to destroy a retro with so much potential. 
 
I like these a lot, i just hope they dont do any of that golden ticket crap, thats really turning me away from buying kicks
 
Lol, was coming in this thread to say the same.

I thought the 3M looked out of place in pics, but in person these are pretty dope.  The leather along the side of the upper is pretty decent.
 
When I held the shoe in hand I seriously asked myself why weren't these an OG colorway?

I need to force myself not to add too many J's to my 2013 list.  Looking like it's going to be difficult.
 
Any word on the release date for these? I remember seeing the catalog scan and it had February if I am not mistaken.
