Only way thats happening is if they move up to there the 3rd spot...and even if they do that..that gotta play the Suns...which bascially plays the samegame as the Nuggets...only they do it better... Tomorrows game will be interesting...

have they played the suns yet? i think they match up well w/ them, but the question for the nuggets is on the defensive end

No The Denver Nuggets do not play defense.. Camby plays defense, Iverson the passing lanes well, and maybe Anthony Carter individually.. But, your teamdefense is horrid.. Thats the Nuggs, biggest problem.. You fix that and you guys are straight.. And, Y'all are not going to have a better record than theSuns..But, that 3rd seed doesn't look all to far-fetched.. Unless Portland miraculously catches you guys..

This might sound a bit farfetched, but it kinda appears as though the Nuggets are shaping into a team reminiscient of A.I.'s contending Sixers. There are anumber of guys who CAN play defense (i.e. Najera, Camby, K-Mart, Carter, even Melo at times) and you have A.I. who seems to be taking the reigns as number 1option for long stretches of the game. Once the defense becomes a staple, well..............

but seriously is the guy really that bad of a coach?..... Doesn't he preach defense? IMO any other first round match up besides theSpurs for last season's Nuggets and they would've advanced past the 1st round.....

It's just kind of frustrating that the Sixers are coming together, but they really need to have a poor season to get that one big draft pick, because thissquad isn't going to go anywhere if they get the 8th seed.
A big draft pick and solid free agent signing along with the young core they currently have (Iguodala, Louie, Thad, Smith - I'm assuming Andre Miller willbe gone, and I can only hope Stephansky can find a way to get rid of Dalembert), I think we could make some real noise in the east for years to come.
As for this year, I hope Iverson finally gets his. I'd say he has three quality years left to get his ring.

Nuggets just have to keep taking it one game at a time. Defense has been better as of late but in order to gt out of the first round we have to get better.Diawara and JR need more PT.
