Everything is different now then it used to be from St. Patricks Day, Halloween and even 4th of July. I am all about having fun but dudes just go out to get hammered and actin' a fool on these days.

July 4th been jaded since high school.

Seeing lights in the sky gets mighty old fast, cuz once u see one you've seen em all.

During the 4th we would close off the street and have a block party. A lot of mafia dudes coming with garbage bags of fireworks. Music and food all night long. Now majority of the neighborhood moved out a lot of foreigners who aren't accustomed to the celebrations. The blocks were lite up but now it's dead quiet. I don't even see the younger generations outside playing anymore. It's sad.

We had a three-way adjacent parking lot show-off last night. Main one was at the Costco and the neighboring lots shot em off too..

The lot in front of us had more firepower than the Six Flags park everyone was suppposed to be watching in the distance lol smh...

Went to my aunts BBQ with my family ate good and watched fire works when it got dark , kids ran around with sparklers ....business as usual for me

fireowrks are cool and all but god damn you wont ever catch me spending all that money when i can just save it for a vacation and watch every other person on the block light theirs off

TYING LIL FIRECRACKERS TO BUGS WAS THE BEST!

BLOWING UP M80'S UNDER A PLASTIC JUG...

STREETS FILLED WITH SMOKE FROM THE FIREWORKS

SHOOTING WHISTLE ROCKETS FROM MY WINDOW...

MAKING MY OWN TYING UP JUMPIN JACKS TO BOTTLE ROCKETS AND WATCHING THEM COME DOWN

THE BEST WAS GOING TO CANAL ST. TO COP A BUNCH OF STUFF FOR $50

See them layed out on a blanket out on the sidewalk.

I remember when they first started getting tough on fireworks and I went to Canal street to buy some and me and my friends met some dude and he had us going through ally's and up stairs and through back doors to his spot

He didn't have heavy stuff though like M80's or Blockbusters

I remember when M80's were .25 then they went to .50, then one dollar.

Same with Blockbuster's they were like .75 I think then $1, then they were like $2 - $2.50

Funny times when I was a kid, but not going to lie did a lot of stupid sh.. and although I didn't get hurt many of my neighborhood friends did.
