I run them through a c-moy amp that I built. I rarely take it outside, though. People look at you funny when you've got your headphones plugged into an Altoids tin

not trying to be a gravedigger but this post is only about 6 months old so i figured no need to start a new one. I was thinking about purchasing the audio technica m-50 headphones for around $115 shipped. ive been lookin around and thats the best price ive seen on them on the internet unless someone knows of a better price somewhere else that i didnt see. also any feedback from someone that has these headphones before i buy them? one big complaint ive read is the cable. is it really that uncomfortable when using them?

:lol: my bad haha didnt wanna start a new thread cause you know how people get upset seeing the same topic recreated over and over again. theres already some decent info in here about headphones so i figured it was better to ask my question here rather than a new post.
 
i got the tour beats in LA for $40, cable/chord is too short though

EDIT:disregard if you aren't anywhere near LA

niketalk doesnt approve , but bose....got them on sale though...dont know if u would pay retail

comfortable and decent quality
 
$30 skullcandy buds ... i blow through headphones way too fast to drop a lot of bread on some. Although I did try my friend's sennheiser over the ears (don't know the model) and the sound was fantastic. If I find them online & they're durable I might treat myself

i had some skullcandys that lasted a month, i knew they sucked but it was the cheapest pair i could find in the airport. a month later they died on me. gonna try these for 7 bucks and they gotta be better than skullcandy.

i'm with you i break them too much to drop any serious dough.
 
V-Moda Crossfade LP. Got them as a gift a while back.

Good sound and build quality, they sort of crush your ears/head if you wear them for too long though.

i use it only as an at home portable rig.. but it i wouldn't mind walking around with it, it doesn't take it up too much room.
