OFFICiAL CHANCE THE RAPPER THREAD. ACID RAP-OUT NOW!/ Tour Dates Added to Pg 1

Weeks later and I gotta be honest.  This is the most unique and enjoyable tape/album I've heard all year.

That includes the new Cole, Cudi, JT, and a whole bunch of albums I was heavily anticipating.

Best tape since G.K.M.C., I think I actually prefer it to that as well. Just an amazing effort on all fronts, lyricism, production, flow, content. Tape is something special man, can't wait for his star to only grow.

although i do agree that musically it's the best thing i've heard since g.k.m.c, in no way do i think it's better. it may be better for casually listening and that's about it

Question: when he hits mainstream, which he will, will he keep the name?

I mean, Chance the Rapper?  Made me not even wanna give him a chance.

I'm still rocking with this tape, only song I'm not feeling is "That's Love".

WHAT??  Damn, my dude, you must not be down with that love thing.  I ******g love that song.

 The tape would be perfect without that, the long gap on pusherman, and the
conversation with his dad on the outro.

WHAT????:wow: :smh: Those are 3 of the things that make the tape a great musical experience if you ask me

^  that is the most friendly inoffensive beat I've ever heard rapped on. Bob Saget could've wrecked shop on that

I'll be honest, I didn't find out about Chance until way late because I assumed "Chance the Rapper" was that dude ^ and didn't bother checking him out

Finally gave it a full listenin very good once i got use to his style which was weird at first but it all is nice Pusha Man:smokin

I just skimmed through a couple of his songs and he sounds like an Eminem /Andre 3k/macy gray collabo. Sounds very genuine, I kinda like his material.

Listened to all of acid rap, joint is nice. Coincidentally my favorite song is favorite song. The boy gambino actually held it down on his verse, he came in with a lil swag and didn't sound like a nerd until the end.

Bruh bino has not had a weak verse since 2010

Agreed. Bino got me into listening to Chance, and I enjoy the fact that they both rap about what's
truthful for them.Chance could go the Keef route glorifying Chicago's violence, but that's not his truth.

Been listening to chance since last year - ish but didnt know NT had a thread.

Amyways, listening to 10 day right now, never get tired of it. He definitely has major potential.

Waiting on his next project

Excuse my lateness but he did such a great job with 'Acid Rap'.

He's great at so many different aspects when it comes to making music. I can say that in the beginning, his voice is very difficult to digest. He almost sounds like that annoying voice Wayne does times 2

. But once you get past that, you realized he has some of the dopest material out.
