I'm heading back to the Bay Area, finally. Time for me to find an apartment or in-law to live in. Does anyone have any suggestions or info on good places to look? I've been on Craigslist, but maybe you guys have more knowledge of which areas in Daly City and South SF I should avoid. Any info would be great.

Whats  your price range?
Id avoid he Grand ave apart. right now in SSF because of the crimes.
friend rents in Westlake (next to Ben Franklin),  decent affordable  and everything in the shopping center too.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Grand Ave is near Downtown SSF? I only know the Westborough area of South City.

Price range is around $1200-1500, since I can't find anywhere in the area lower than that.

Thats where I live. It's pretty safe, I don't see much activity going on; though there are cops roaming around from time to time.

My parents rent out our basement (unfortunately it's already rented out), but we charge $900 + own electricity for 2 people...It's 2 rooms, 1 bathroom and a small kitchen area.

GL LMR!

Is parking bad in Daly City? A friend of mine keeps posting that he can't find parking when he comes home at night. (Not too sure which part of Daly City he lives in.)

I'll continue my search, though. Hopefully, I could get a deal with a one-bedroom or even studio.

ive been looking for a while also around dc ssf or san bruno and havent had any luck. one problem is thet me and my wife have a little puppy and most places dont want no dogs at all

Update:

My LMR sn didn't transfer over, nor could I log in to the new site....so sad.

Anyway, I'm temporarily staying with my Uncle in Daly City of Price St. and Third Ave. Still looking for a place...

I have been taking the BART from the Colma station and parking in the structure is costly. Does anyone know if that station is safe to leave my bike there? Thinking of just riding my bike to the station, instead of paying for parking.
