I don't go MIA if I make a bold prediction.

, when do you ever make a "bold" prediction?

Most of the time you don't even pick which team will one...just that one team will, by either: 3,6, or 7 points.

Thats not bold.

guess the "cats out the bag"

Mick:

* Owens is out there practicing right now. He went through all of the warm ups and he is very much involved in the skeleton plays and game plan. I did not seeany limping but he is not going against anyone. I did see full-throttle cuts and routes. The guys have been saying that he has been rehabbing 18-19 hours a dayand spends time in the hyperbaric chamber.

* Glenn is also out their practicing. This is the first time he has participated in full practice all year. Even if he hasn't played this year, the NJFGwill have to cover him. If he and TO are both in there it will force the NJFG to account for both which will leave one of the TE's open.

FOOTBALL is not the center of the universe, get over it.

I make predictions all the time, esp with baseball and basketball.

But why do I have to prove anything to someone I don't even know.

what's the official spread?

Wasn't it 7.5 a few days ago, or has it changed ?

Everyone took part, as the team geared back down into shells and shorts and worked inside its field house with three games left before gameday.

WR Terrell Owens was there, yes. And he had a limp in his step, favoring the left ankle he injured in Carolina. He was rounding out his breaks, rather thanchanging direction sharp, on most routes. Toward the end, he seemed to be accelerating and cutting better.

But no matter how much we overanalyze all this, the fact remains that Owens will play Sunday. Count on it.

Fellow receiver Sam Hurd said Owens has spent "like 19 hours out of his day" trying to get back on the field and expects T.O. will play.

LOL, that was a rhetorical question. Because, when it comes to FOOTBALL you never make "bold" predictions.

Just the same supersafe generic prediction you always post ie. One team will win by 7 or less.

Since thats right about 80% of the time you then post like your the end-all be-all.

It gets annoying, especially when you try to call out other members for not having as much foresight as you do.

And for the record my friend has you on his XBL friends list. I've played against you for little bit. So....yeah.

And come to think of it you have made a bold prediction (last Cowboys-Giants game).

You posted Giants would win by 10, they lost by 11, you got called out on it, and you then copped out and said it

wasn't a prediction, just the score you were HOPING they would win by.

Almost as bad as going MIA IMO.

Yeah, its tough to wait this long for this game. You know its going to come down to turnovers, and to has the ball with 5 minutes left.

The hell you talking about, nobody called me out b/c I don't make stupid predictions all the time thinking my team will win every game.

(nobody everasked for "mez" specifically..... unless it was you which means I didn't care.

)

When I say something like either team will win, but it'll be close (with this game I said Giants by 3 or 6, and stated why/how), its because I reallydon't know who will win the game, which is rare. How exactly did I cop out if I posted my post-game thoughts as I usually do on a Giants game? I don'tmake excuses (and not that I need to, I'm not the one actually playing on the field....all we do is watch), but I guess since people like yourself arekeeping track for some reason, kudos to you then I guess.

I would understand if I was having a direct dialog w/ you, but I was doing a little friendly trash talkin' with one person and its the 2nd time you quotedme........a little weird.

How about in week 1 when I said the Cowboys would beat the Giants by 17? Or the Rockies would sweep the Phils and make the World Series? Or that the ********,Titans, and Bucs would all lose last week (only game I couldn't decide which team would win was the Jags/Steelers game)? Point is, your quoting me based ona very small sample of games that I'll be undecided on from time to time (your exact choice of word was "ALL GAMES"), sorry if I don't pleaseyou and make boldpredictions 100 % of the time, I'll post "realistic" predictions 98 % of the time and be undecided on the rest,I just don't talk out my#%%+ like some people do.

If I'm wrong I'm wrong, it doesn't matter to me because if I was right all the time I'd be a rich man, but I try to be as unbiased andrealistic as possible, which most dude's could appreciate.

Now, back to the game (and I hope you do the same as well).....I hope the Giants play a bit moreaggressively then they did @ the Bucs last weekend. The play to end the 2nd half after the turnover comes to mind, when they could have taken a shot for a TDas opposed to settling for a FG, which is something they should not do this Sunday. Now...Eli has played better of late and he's played well vs. Dallas, but he needs to take some shots down the field when warranted (especially with this theme of playing with "house money" that everybody keeps saying)b/c Dallas will score their points.. I just don't want to see Eli take the Favre route and start throwing 40 yard incompletion's trying to do toomuch..

The match ups/areas that I'm interested in seeing are:

a) I'm also interested in seeing how the Giants pass rush does this weekend as well, espconsidering that for the most part they were ineffective vs. Dallas excellent O-Line.

b) Jacobs needs to run north to south, not east to west, because the Cowboys D-Line is too quick forhim to run outside on the edges successfully. He will have a great deal of help from Bradshaw/Ward, who will probably be more effective at the start of thegame.

c) Can David Diehl provide great protection for Eli ALL GAME vs. the Cowboys quick DE's ?

d) I'm also curious to see how Boss does, he's picked up some much needed slack, and playedpretty well for the most part (def. not the same without Shockey though).

e) Which ELI will we see, the one with a ton of confidence and better numbers than Romo down thestretch, or one that tries too do to much and turns the ball over 2-3x ?

f) T.O. will def play, but how effective would he be playing 3 weeks into an injury that requires at least 6 weeks of rest to fully heal ?

g) Which secondary will suck more?
laugh.gif

dudes in here acting like they dont care about what other people say when they obviously do lololol ... gonna be a great game by the way

No, not really. I wouldn't normally waste my time, but dude said I do that with ALL of my predictions, so I just stated some examples since I was gonnamake some points on the game anyways (in orange).

I'm just bored of these meaningless NBA games, football needs to start already.

If there is any question about whether Terrell Owens is going to play on Sunday was answered when the receiver did an interview with NFL Network's DeionSanders on Thursday.

"Oh, I'm gonna play," Owens said. "I'm gonna play."

When Prime Time asked T.O. at what level, he said, "At a high level. I'm not worried about nothing."

Several players said Owens looked good during Monday's walkthrough and during the brief media period on Thursday, T.O. ran pretty smooth. There was aslight hitch in his step, but not enough to cause too much of a concern.

new york should be worried, is sam madison playing?

giants fans when the giants win and if eli plays good, will you eat your words that the giants need to get rid of him... most giants fans have said they wantedhim gone i wounder what you thoughts would be if he wins and plays well...will you flip flop...heck some of you wanted lorenzen to start

in 1999 the jags went 14-2 WOW, lost only two reg season games both to the titians.. then went on to play the dolphins in the 2nd round blew them out 62-7 WOW,then they get the titians next and lose for a 3rd time 33-14 they lost only 3 games all to the titians W O W

when the giants went to the super bowl they beat philly 3 times

man this choke job by the boys sunday is going to be so sick

its going to be great to win the super bowl beating the cowboys, packers, pats 0-4 in the reg season and 3-0 in the playoffs.....no i'm not crazy juststating the facts i just came back from the furture....man i cant wait for sunday its going to be Awesome

^ talkin' crazy up there...maybe you should just go to sleep.

And FYI you're not the only person who still believes in Eli, someone posted a while back

they thought he was an above-avg qb.

i didnt say i was the only one but i'm disappointed in the number of giants fans that threw eli off the ship....he play has not been what was expected ofhim but most fans wanted him gone which is crazy unless you have something better out there to get QBs are not easy to find Eli will be starting in this leaguefor 15 years if he was a free agent at least 5 teams would be calling offering starting jobs...some giants fan posted a few weeks back that if he was cut noteam would sign him....

Eli and brady are the 2 most blitz QBs in the league, pats have great line but what they also do is go 4 and 5 wide that way its easier for the QB to see wherethe blitz is coming from the giants need to do more of that, the cowboys were in elis face all game last time they need to allow him time to find his guys.

the giants O line and D line better play well

Eli has used the pump fake more than ever before, he needs to do some pump fakes to toomer and go deep to smith or moss

people keep saying "If Eli plays good, Giants win." uh, Eli ALWAYS plays good against the Boys [for some odd reason] but still loses.
