OFFICIAL COWBOY FAN SUICIDE WATCH THREAD

^ That's because Dallas has a better team this season, they won the division for a reason.

Eli's Giants are 3-4 vs. the Cowboys in his short career (including this season).

giants fans when the giants win and if eli plays good, will you eat your words that the giants need to get rid of him... most giants fans have said they wanted him gone i wounder what you thoughts would be if he wins and plays well...will you flip flop...heck some of you wanted lorenzen to start

I've defended Eli a lot, but dude needs to grow some pelotas at times. He's the QB, and as long as he is here I'll support him. He's beenplaying well lately, so we'll see if he can continue his good play, or revert back to his old, inconsistent ways. Eli does have his share of games where hehas carried the team, but there are times when everybody (including the defense) have to pick up the slack, and that's what frustrates some fans to thepoint where they feel the team should look elsewhere (which I don't necessarily agree with, at least not yet).

...and to be fair, some QB's do take a lot longer than others to fully develop. Shoot, even Romo has been in the league longer than Eli has.

I Hope he is pumpfakin the way he did against TB. its gonna bite him in the A!!! if he does. his pumpfake (altho it worked) is horrible.

Still hate Eli. He isnt doing anything special these last 2 games so im not convinced. All he's doing is taking care of the ball and not making stupidturnovers.

If he beats the cowboys then i would want to see him next year to see what he does and see if he's finally coming around to be what a #1 pick should bebut i still want a better back up on the team so he could have some heat on his ***.

Technically your right by 1yr but come on fam. Romo was like 50th string so you know he wasn't getting no reps. Eli has been getting sometype of burn since he got to NY. I don't know what your getting at but I don't think that 1yr esp when your so far on the depth chart makes that muchof a difference.

Wasn't Romo second string most of the time? Bradshaw was just there to mentor him right? (but he started for a while)? Kurt Warner was Eli's mentorwasn't he?

Damn I'm confused.

^ No, Romo's always been third string. And that was only because they felt he wasn't safe on the practice squad.

Whereas Eli was traded for to be that guy and everyone knew he would be.

And we did go through alot of qb's between aikman and romo but, who's Bradshaw?

Romo was buried on the depth chart up until last year. He had always been the third QB for Dallas before that...

EXACTLY. Eli was really impressive against the Patriots, but all he did in Tampa was drive the bus. He didn't do anything special at all lastweek. He didn't suck, which I guess is progress, but it ain't like he was a world-beater like those idiots on ESPN would have you think...

Eli generally plays pretty well against the Cowboys, so we'll see how he does this week. When was the last time he put together 3 really solid games in arow? Has he even done it before?

Umm..What is Eli supposed to do, throw deep against Tampa? That would be stupid. He played a great game hitting people in stride and making the correct plays. He's looked better than he's ever had in the last 2 weeks. I attribute that to having a 3 WR set instead of a 2 TE.

I had a nice tv, but I upgraded again to something with better contrast just in time for this game ... gonna have all the cowboys fans over in FULL

People have such trouble giving Eli any credit ever. He will probably never prosper the way he could because of all the stupid ++!@ he has to deal with. NYmedia, stupid Jints fans, etc. He has played great for the past 2 games, TB's D said "Beat us Eli" and he did by taking what they gave him andmaking all the correct reads. That game means nothing now and it all comes down to Dallas this Sunday, nothing more and nothing less.

I have faith the Jints will win this game. We will see what's good on Sunday...

Eli brought it on his own damn self. You don't have the right to choose where you want to go. The Chargers only dealt him because they didn't wantto deal with his whiny %*!!@ ***.

What kind of TV did you cop ?
2 years ago i got a samsung 42" when they had them Official HDTV of the NFL commercials, but it was only 1080i maximum ... went to BJ's(like a costco or sams club) yesterday and got a Sony Bravia 46" ... honestly the best hd picture ive ever seen in person ... TO will look beautifulcatching those tds in stride sunday ... I'm afraid that Barber will scare me when he trucks every NYG defender though lol

I got a 42" Samsung HDTV 2 years ago also, but I paid an arm and a leg since it was a 1080p and that was still relatively new.....I'm not too crazyabout Sony TVs in general, but then again I haven't seen any of the latest HDTV's in person cause I know I would end up getting a 50+ inch just for thebedroom

....smh.

What's the contrast ratio on your joint (mine is 6000:1)?.....and do you have a link of your TV from a site like circuit city or best buy, etc? I'mprob gonna end up buying a new TV for the living room.

Giants best receiver against us is Shockey.
No Shockey. No win!!!!
Moss and Smith ain't ready for the type of lockdown

they will receive Sunday at 3:30/cst.

Amazingly enough with all the hype with T.O. everybody
has forgotten about Glenn being back. I don't see anybody
stopping our offense with all our weapons on the field.
TO THE BOWL Y'ALL!!! TO THE BOWL!!!

Cowboys pulling out all the tricks

Tim MacMahon Bio --> E-mail News tips

I've long been lobbying for the Cowboys to get the ball in Leonard "Bigg" Davis' hands, so I was thrilled to see the Tony Sparano putting theoffensive linemen through passing lines during today's practice.

After some investigative reporting, I discovered that Jason Garrett does indeed have a few tackle- and guard-eligible plays in this week's game plan. Please don't let anybody in New York know.

Center Andre Gurode suggested that they put him in motion, but the Cowboys have had enough trouble with shotgun snaps as it is.

Guard Kyle Kosier claims he has the best hands on the offensive line, and he'd love a chance to show it on Sunday. But Bigg will be awfully perturbed ifanother 300-pounder gets the ball.

"I'm a big playmaker," he said. "I'll turn a slant into a big play. [Kosier] doesn't have the ability to do that. That's a bigdifference."

Yeah I'm expecting them to open up the playbook this week and really let it fly.

Everybody seems to like the Giants to pull off the upset...am I missin sumthin?
yeah maybe you missed eli playing like an average qb the last few weeks, but because he sucks so bad previously, he is god now ...

thanks ... i would have got the 52" but they were sold out at the time except in a phillips ...

I don't know about you, but even the AM Radio personalities here in NYC don't think the Giants will win.

However, the general consensus is that the game will be a close one considering how each team ended their season (in favor of the Cowboys).

I could care less though, I just want to see how the game pans out b/c both teams will score a lot of points.

The Pats and Colts will probably blow out their opponents this weekend, and the Packers/Seahawks will prob go in favor of Green Bay. Despite the Cowboys havingthe better team, this game will def. be the most entertaining one of the weekend.

ayo DFW NTers/cowboys fans...if(when) the cowboys win on sunday when can i purchase tickets for the next game? can i buy them online ticketmaster or do i haveto purchase them @ texas stadium, thanks

in the NFL if you get drafted by a team and you dont want to play you can say forget you i'll enter the draft next year, Eli used that to gethimself traded he wasnt the 1st Elway did the same thing....most guys if they had the power to do so would...do you think if vince young had the power to getdrafted by houston he would have used it....chargers should have never given up on brees if brees had been a 1st round pick they wouldnt have given up on himso soon...and eli made a mistake the chargers have more talent and much better weather, i'm very worried that eli cant play in below 40 weather.

for what the giants paid for eli they have not gotten their moneys worth, thats why giants fans and the media are so down on him plus the fact romo has playedso well out of no where

if eli was cut tomorrow these teams would line up to sign him to start
falcons
ravens
vikings
dolphins
bears
and maybe lions, 9ers, chiefs, jets, bucs

no doubt about it eli needs to improve
