Saw it on sneakernews.  Looks like Spring 2013.  I like the look and shape of the 90, but I'm curious if that yellowed midsole can be scrubbed down to white.
The Nike Air Max 90 ‘Infrared’ is one of those styles that we can thankfully count on to come back around every couple of years. The Nike Air Max 1 in the original sport red makeup is a less frequent retro, but has nonetheless made the rounds plenty of times to where you should have a pair in your collection by now. If you’re missing either though Spring 2013 will offering up a few, albeit with the faux VNTG styling applied that has them looking quite different from any recent retro. The sneakers don’t go too overboard on that treatment though, registering as some of the best we’ve seen with the weathered look. Click through with us for a better view of both and let us know if you’re looking forward to the Nike Air Max 1 and Air Max 90 OG colorways coming back next year. Photo: Sole Haven

Down for both, my 2009 AM1 is starting to get beat and I can get unDS my other pairs of the 2010 AM90. If they can get the mesh looking like the original stuff on the AM1 I'll be really happy, the mudguard looks higher than it did on the 2009 pair.

i don't know what nike has against retro'ing the wht/grey/navy blue-red original colorway
instead of the wht/grey/red 100 times

happy to hear theyre coming back out. honestly, the worn out sole looks are nice. makes me feel like theyre broken in already..that and i can avoid having to keep the uppers crispy clean lol.

Is there a reversal now in the at least 5 year fight against the VNTG soles? I remember that just about every other shoe that's gotten the treatment has been met with resistance from people buying. I don't mind it since it can usually come right off with a little bit of cleaning.

the am1s will be copped...cant spend money on a pair of yellowed am90s especially since i have the last retros

when will Nike put this "vintage" garbage to rest? Well, maybe the piss yellow will crack off like the rest of the painted midsole...I'll pass

I'll never understand the vintage treatment. That said, if the yellowing can be scrubbed off like it has on previous shoes given the vintage treatment, count me in for 2 pairs of Infras. Can never have enough and that shape does look good.

I'm not too scared of the catalog pictures of the Vintage AM1, it looks like on the sample they have floating they already got the soles to be the proper colors and it doesn't look like they have that weird nylon tongue with the stuffing spilling out on the sample.

AM1 midsoles are easy to paint, so the weathered sole doesnt matter. I just wish the side material didnt slant. I mean, how hard is it for them to make it straight and even? Come on Nike, at least get that right.

The vintage sole is a dealbreaker as always. Guess im on the hunt for Infared 90's.

Most of us have enough vintage shoes that we don't need Nike to pre-yellow its releases for us... If I want to wear a shoe that looks halfway beat I'll dip into my stash. This release is a buzzkill, for me anyhow
