Did the Browns just over pay him??? I know about him, and know he was the top DT available..
He was a guy I was hoping the Hawks would be looking at. He was slightly overpaid with 5 for 35M, I think. He's already peaked, 28 yrs old and not much of a disruptor on the inside. Not much pass rush offered but I think he's above avg against the run. Good pickup for sure.

Yeah good points.

Cribbs = GONE? Damn! His agent just said he found a new home...

Jesus, the money that these dudes are getting is crazy. Glad the Bengals are just bringing back their own guys for now.

Shakes head

Following the Steelers and Ravens model. Smart....and I hate it

Seriously though they will have to save money because their good young guys will all be coming up around the same time. Good move to just kinda stay put

People not realizing teams have to spend up 89% of the cap and the most of these players won't ever see all this money

 at the USC Reggie Comment

Phins making moves though... over/under 8 wins... ? :nerd:

Idc tbh. I'm a Broncos fan so I hope the Raiders continue drafting like this

i think reggie bush would work out in detroit. reggie is an open field rb. the lions love to throw the ball.

Issue is Cap, Reggie wants to get paid, SOMEONE is going to do it.

Also houston plays the AFC West next week, im fine for all these moves with the Raiders, Chiefs and Chargers  :pimp:

yup.. this is why we released nnamdi today as opposed to last week or whenever it was first reported.. not sure how it works exactly, but it was purely for salary cap reasons

Listen folks when discussing NFL contracts you primarily need to look at the years and guaranteed money.

The rest of the deal is damn near irrelevant.

Please stop with OMG! he got 5/40 million! posts because you look stupid to people to pay attention.

Ain't nobody paying Reggie Bush big money.

I'd be shocked if his deal is for more than what Ben Jarvis got last year.

But my Lions are involved so who knows

Everyone knows an NFL player rarely plays out the length of their contract, but this money that's being guaranteed and the signing bonuses are crazy.
