Their defense didn't suck in that postseason though. Like MertonHanks said, they carried the offense in their SuperBowl run...I think they only gave up 4 TD's total in 4 games played.

Peyton had like 3 TD's, 7 INT's.

But yeah...enough about that...

Reports are Pats offered 2 yrs/10 mill + incentives vs. 2 yrs/12 mill Wes got from the Broncos. So difference of ~2mill is what did it. Once again, The Patriot Way

Pat Sims is very underrated but he's often injured. Once he came back last season the Bengals rushing yards allowed went down like one whole yard. Solid pickup by the Raiders.

Oh yea I that that's what everybody agreed on here :lol: It was pretty much the perfect storm for them, Grossman sucks and the Colts D went on a fierce run.

Ed Reed...come on....sign with us....then stay healthy....

But they got healthy by postseason and they carried Peyton. Peyton had a terrible QB rating and threw more INTs than TDs. Everyone who watched that Colts postseason run knew the D carried them. Peyton was throwing INTs left and right, a couple fer pickle 6's. This Broncos D cannot carry them when the offense is struggling.

That was only one instance in peytons entire career where the D outshined the O..and it couldnt of came at a bettertime...

This. He carried them for over a decade, so at some point the defense had to do something.


Denver better get some safety help asap.


I will be highly pissed off if the Giants let Cruz go.

In regards to Welker, came down to a couple million, whatever. Keep it moving.

I knew NYG would lose Cruz the minute they put that tender on him.

He's only 26 and aslong as he has an elite QB throwing to him, he'll continue to put up numbers IMO....

NYG ain't winning anything for a looong time.
