All this James Harrison stuff.  Let's be real- this guy was a dirty player his whole career.  Real scumbag.  But he was a Steeler so the media loves to fawn all over him.

I mean you guys are in good hands you have Romo for another 5 years and a TERRIBLE salary cap situation

such a lame-*** crew.  Can always trust them to say the most obvious thing, like Mike & Mike.
What did you want them to say?

You win a lose as a team. Don't give me that Dez is passionate BS.
dez is a bit extreme when he throws those fits, but dungy and harrison are nothing more than company men/suits for making bryant seem like he's crazy for wanting to win and being upset when his team loses. you don't lose as a team when one of your players consistently loses it for you

I just mean in general.  They bring nothing to the table.

Ask Tony Dungy for insight on the New Orleans game and he says "New Orleans needs to learn to win on the road."

Dan Patrick just asked Rodney Harrison why he picked Pittsburgh and he said "Pride."

True. Tony is usually better than that. Rodney on the other hand "pride" clearly didn't care

Garrett/Callahan abandon the run all game when it should have been the go-to plays on offense.

Garrett finally calls a run play supposedly and then Romo switches it up to pass and eventual interception?

The irony  .

According to the NBC crew Garrett threw Romo under the bus again.
Dan Patrick reported Jason Garrett told the media Romo was supposed to run the ball on that last play, but checked out of it to that pass play.
What head coach does that?
I'm sure the actual statement was worded differently but, the way you worded it right there sounds like it's literally just a fact. It was a run, he checked out of it. Doesn't sound like slander/"throwing under the bus" to me.
why are you sure if you didn't even hear what jason garrett said?

that's exactly what he said

I just thought you were paraphrasing because it doesn't sound like him throwing Tony under the bus at all.
i understand what you mean now

i didn't think what garrett said was throwing romo under the bus either. i thought garrett said what he said in a very matter of fact kind of way

One also has to wonder why Garrett would give that option to begin with. Why not call a RUN and only a RUN. Why give him the option? That falls on Garrett just as much as Romo.

Why do you guys blame Garrett? I thought the OC and Romo were calling basically all the plays from now on? I seriously don't even know what Garrett does anymore

Garrett took over the play calling after the Saints debacle.

I blame Romo too. But I blame Garrett just as much. Was it Romo that checked out of the other 50 pass attempts? Romo and Witten gave him an earful in the first quarter on some busted screen play. I don't believe in yelling at the coach but Garrett is an idiot for all those pass attempts. Demarco was LIVID and rightfully so.

I must admit, this stuff is comedy right now on talk radio. Garrett will ultimately be fired which is a good thing. I didn't have a problem with him as a HC but he's been a huge problem as our OC.

There's 3 constants in the Cowboys mediocrity. Jerry, Romo, and Garrett. Jerry isn't going anywhere so that leaves Romo and Garrett. We have not seen what either one can do as a QB/OC without the other. But obviously this is not a good marriage at all.

The main problem is the Cowboys being 26-44 in December since 1996 which as I said before is a Jerry Jones problem, not a Romo/Garrett problem.
