It was obvious he wasn't playing once multiple outlets reported it. They do have sources within the team and as sketchy as media reports can be sometimes I still trust them over anything Jerry Jones and the Cowboy organization put out publicly. Jerry Jones has lied through his teeth in the media before.

For the 1 millionth time. I never said romo would play. I actually stated that IMO I think he wouldn't play.

I called u out for the fake reports that he will never walk again if he played. No Doctor said that on tv or radio. U made it up. Point blank period.

Eagles are the better team right now regardless if Romo played or not imo, but it would be hilarious if Eagles blow this come Sunday.

Can't win them all, but as a team and as a collection of fans show some heart and try to win a game, show some effort. That being said, his team checked out permanently after Week 3 this season, which is exactly what he should have done.

You can be butt hurt all you want but more than a few doctors on Philly sports talk radio talked about the consequences of playing and getting hit along with the potential risk...I'm sorry you can't listen to Dallas radio in your car since you are 2,000 miles from Texas

Its just not that big of a deal. There were people saying Rodgers is done for the year all year long. People were saying it was career threatening if he injures it again. It was all speculation and no one really knew. No one was getting offended accusing others of making false reports like any of us are credible sports journalists with inside sources to begin with. I was hearing reports on the Milwaukee Sports radio about Rodgers that never ended up being true and none of you heard it. Nor would I take to the time to find it to make a point. He was speculating after listening to others speculate, let it go.

pretty much spot on; doctors were calling in saying potential consequences even if some were the extreme and dude got all butt hurt

are you slow? it is pretty obvious when I said one shot away that I was talking potential risks that is the definition of speculating

If there were no long term risks than your boy would be suitting up on Sunday...let it go man

Def is all on the Eagles now; the Cowboys can lose and they have an excuse, if the Eagles lose it's a big letdown that goes into the off season then Foles is questioned along with Chip
 
Doctor's didnt lie in this case. You cant possibly know the extent of Romo's injury until the swelling has gone down, hence the epidural he had. Once the epidural made its effect they probably realized the extent of his injury. Romo was probably complaining of weaknesses, numbness, tingling, ect and they recommended surgery for their $55 million investment. His early morning surgery indicated that the Cowboys PR probably had a huge influence on the amount of info coming out. That's why they broke the story this morning.

That said, Cowboys should look into drafting a QB. At 33, his mobility in the pocket is gonna be shot.

you're right they aren't facts :lol: it was speculation and potential risks associated with playing...you aren't the brightest bulb are you?
