I think you're right to a degree, and sure do hope so. The pessimist in me just thinks Tony G. is gonna be able to get away with everything in the book since it's his last game, and folks will want at least a semblance of a proper send off.

Yep, bye week with either a win or a Saints loss. Outside shot at #1 seed still, but it's most likely gonna be either the 2 or 5 for us. Just don't wanna have to go to Lambeau in the WC Round, that would be trouble.

Those "last games for (insert player)" are usually only energetic at the beginning and begins to dwindle as the game carries on. If Panthers score on the first two opening drives it'll instantly kill any energy they have from the Tony G hype.

I'm just happy for Cam. Feel like he was unfairly scrutinized and though he had his issues, they were severely overblown (you really want dude to be smiling after a losing?)

Seahawks and Panthers are the only two teams I'd be legitimately happy for winning it all, especially Seattle considering how they got Sean Combs'd in 2005.

Also wouldn't mind Andy Reid getting a chip as he was most definitely criticized TOO much IMO

Any way I can get a hold of two, fairly-priced Dolphins vs. Jets tickets at SunLife Stadium this Sunday?

I know they're going for more than normal with the playoff spot implications, but is there a website selling for cheap OR do they go down considerably if I go and try to scalp around game time?

I've been looking there's nothing on websites really. Best bet is probably buy some off the side of the road before you get to the stadium when you get off Ives dairy road if your coming from that way there's always people selling in front that publix.

I'd like Andy to get a chip one day, just not with Alex Smith.

Working unfortunately. Good thing is I'm in the city already. Coworkers want to hit a lounge in Midtown. You?

Glad McNair is trusting in Smith and giving him a chance the right the ship with a new QB.

Feel you on the traffic, drama, commotion. Figured since I'm already in Midtown, might as well make the most of a promising situation. Yamb chasing, Patron all night.

How was Christmas, happy with your gifts?

Smith is still up there with Reese for me in my top-10 GM's regardless of this season.

What a joke that Lavonte didn't make the Pro Bowl. I'm sure he'll end up getting in as an alternate though.

I just want to start my new year with Schiano not coaching the Bucs anymore.

I would assume Smith has a short leash, dude hits on his first round picks.

Brown / Watt / Cushing / Reem

And Mercy / Nuk showed some promise, his 2nd rounders and below

Hopefully Teddy declares, if not the team needs to trade back.

As for New Years I try and avoid to the city at all costs, I got some friends that stay at the a Galaxy Towers in edgewater, might make that move.

David was the best OLB in football this year. Then any order of Thomas Davis, Levy, Burfict.

MMG: Any interest in Bortles? They calling him Big Ben-lite.

Bill O'Brien to become the Texans coach; contract being worked out

He did a great job with PSU; sucks to see him go

I'm cool with O'Brien, cause it signals an official cleansing of the staff instead of reusing band-aids. I thought Lovie would be a good fit depending on the assistants hired.

Nice coup for HOU, no doubt. Think they'll be even more inclined to go QB in Round 1 now...shall be interesting.
