Can you really blame us? I'm 28 and i can't remember our last Superbowl. We've had to endure Sage Rosenfeld, Tony Banks, Jason Campbell, Rex Grossman, John Beck, Washed up Donovan Mcnabb, and Danny Wuerful... that is the very definiton of struggle. You know how easy it would have been to just hop on the bandwagon of any other good team during that time?. Some of us have literaly been clowned our entire life for being Skins fans. Now that we have a superstar QB, an above average back up, and a competent front office, went 5-1 in the division, we are feeling ourselves.
THIS!!! And let's add Ramsey and Brunell though we did make it to the playoffs a couple times. We just can't get past the Seahawks :smh:

Riley, you stupid white boy. He definitely knows better. Especially being in an NFL locker room. You just can't defend someone like that. :smh:

@ Flightman, Why do you consider it a "foregone conclusion" that you will sweep the Division?
400

i think the winner of the nfc east will have no more than 10 wins. that is a tough division.

No it won't , its been weak for the past few years, its the worst division in the nfc right now, but it will back on top soon enough

Cowboys are done, no safeties and their online is beyond suspect. Eagles still have Vick and a one trick pony in Desean, their defense is transitioning to a 3-4 with subpar personnel. Giants lost Osi, Tuck is washed, JPP is injured and Nicks is injury prone.

It's a tough division in the fact that any team can sweep one another, it's so unpredictable. The last time the Giants won the Super Bowl the Rex Grossman led ******** swept em

You're right, Dallas has no safeties /O-Line, Eagles are rebuilding on D and the Giants D will probably be terrible and Nicks does stay hurt. But the ******** franchise QB is coming off an ACL tear, their best DB is Deangelo Hall and defenses are obviously going be more prepared for the read option. It's not just the other three teams with problems. Anybody can win the East any year, that's why each team has won the division title since 09.

you cant be serious? weakest in the nfc? its not the strongest but i dont think its the weakest.

I honestly don't see the Skins going less than 11-5... I can't wait to see how defenses plan on defending us.(that's right I said us )

Outside of Bal nobody really slowed them down last year. Including Sea we were up 14-0 when Bob was on just 1 1/2 legs.

The whole reason they went on that Run at the end of the season was because the D started playing a whole lot better.

The offense was there the whole year. But it's hard to score 40 every week to win games.

So if the D can stay healthy. And one of the safety's can have a good season. Specifically Merriweather because when he did play last year you could see the difference in the defense.

And getting Rak back. Also hearing alot if good things from Rambo.

And if Garçon can stay healthy the whole year. The NFC east is in trouble. Trust me!!!

any of y'all think the shorter camps are actually partly to blame for all these dudes getting carted off? i know it happens, but this year seems OD. shorter camps mean teams jumping to cover more and raise the intensity sooner than normal, instead of easing into it a bit more. i dunno...seems like it's having the opposite effect of what was intended.

I do think Over training has something to do with it as well.

You have so many practices up until game time, cats will over work to get ready for camp and said games.

I just don't understand how drugs are just so widely accepted on this forum.

The moderators should do something about this asap...

...and everybody knows the NFC North is a one team show. Weakest division by far.

I'm not sure you can actually stop our read option. We run so many variations of it from the option sweep, PA option, screen option,we adjust our option depending on if the D is scraping with a LB or safety. Kyle literally has an option play for any look the D gives us. Also lets not act like RG3 isnt extremely proficient in the pocket and is more than capable of running the traditional Shanahan offense (bootleg, rollouts, heavy play-action). I know sweeping the division sounds far-fetched but we went 5-1 with a rookie QB and our best defender in Orakpo out for the year. We have solid depth at every position.

Cowboys have zero depth at every position outside of TE and their run defense on paper is abysmal. Their top LB's are extremely fragile. Romo crumbles under pressure. Dez is about all they have going for them.

Eagles are going to ride McCoy to the ground with that suspect WR core and I've already mentioned their subpar personnel for a 3-4.

Giants are a wildcard with Eli at the helm but that defense is legit shook of RG3. They're the only squad that we might have problems with.

Skins have the best front 7 with Orakpo back 100% (Kerrigan led the league in QB hurries being the sole pass rusher last yr) the 2nd best RB & QB in the east. Is it really crazy that we make a 49ers type leap into the elite category now that we have a competent QB?

******** fans sound the same way Lions fans did in 2011...honestly they even sound like Cowboys fans in 09. Have to consistently year after year be a good team. Teams make the playoffs one season and don't do squat the next 3-5 years all the time. Skins fans think they have a dominant team in the making because they made the playoffs one season as arguably the second worst team to make it that year

But we are making cases for it.

No one has yet to make a case against it.

Here I'll make it easy for you...

What can't the Skins win the east this year? Who's better?

Lol the skins started 3-6 last year, then they got hot. East is too unpredictable.
