That's another key aspect Favre gets judged for, and rightfully so. He didn't treat Aaron Rodgers well in his parting days from GB.

Now Favre is giving Rodgers credit, but it's somewhat late. The damage is done.

Since there is no Fantasy Football thread for this year, I'll ask this here. I'm in an 8 team league PPR. We are allowed to keep 2 players. I'm choosing between (Tom Brady, Marshawn Lynch, Julio Jones, and Jimmy Graham) I was thinking of keeping Lynch and Julio, I pick 8th in the draft and I have good reason to believe I could draft Cam Newton and Jimmy Graham with my first two picks. What do you guys think?

Brady and Julio.
You not worried about what has happened to Brady's Weapons this off-season? I guess he has been able to stay at a high level with less.

Idk it looks like Brady will missing all his dink n dunk guys, can Amendola, Ballard, who both have injury concerns and inexperienced wide recievers make up for the production of Wes, AH, and Gronk all who great after the catch. That's what made their offense go, intermediate accurate passes that led to a lot of yac, I don't if these guys are built for that

The seahawks drafted a HB with their 1st pick in the draft so keep that in mind when you think about keeping lynch

in a ppr league with only 8 teams i would keep julio and graham.  qb's run more than 8-10 deep in fantasy. injury aside graham should be the #1 te out there so don't risk losing him. nothing wrong with replacing brady with stafford , romo , ryan , cam.

lynch should get the bulk of the carries but turbin and christine miachael will get a good share. with the seahawks defense they should have the lead in most games and no reason to burn lynch out. plus christine michael is a very hard runner and is a deep sleeper in your drafts.

In Wednesday's NFL police blotter...

PFT

We know that Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has been arrested. We don’t know why.

Massachusetts State Police have issued a statement via Twitter (where else?) indicating that they won’t be disclosing the charge against Hernandez until he appears in court.

It’s unclear when he will appear in court. It presumably will happen at some point today. But he’ll need to be processed first, including mugshots and fingerprints and whatever else they do when someone is arrested.

CBS 3 in Philly is reporting that Ravens running back Bernard Pierce was robbed at gunpoint and had his BMW stolen Sunday night in West Philly.

Pierce, who played three years at Temple and is from the suburbs just west of Philly, was with a male companion when a gunman jumped from a car and robbed both of them. The gunman was with an accomplice who remained in the other car.

Pierce's BMW was later found in another part of the city and is being processed for clues. CBS 3 says the Ravens told them they are aware of the situation. Neither Pierce nor his companion was injured.

Update (8:08 p.m.): The Philadelphia Daily News says Pierce's companion is his cousin, and that Pierce also had his wallet and cell phone stolen.

Maurice Jones-Drew will face lawsuit over bar incident

Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew will not be criminally charged after he was accused of punching a bar security guard. But he will be sued in civil court.

Patrick Canan, the attorney for security guard Kasim Howard, told the Florida Times-Union he will sue Jones-Drew.

“If the state of Florida won’t attempt to seek justice, we will,” Canan said.

Video of the incident was inconclusive, and prosecutors did not believe they could prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Jones-Drew assaulted Howard. Canan still believes that the preponderance of the evidence will show that his client was injured by Jones-Drew.

Linebacker Ausar Walcott, signed last month by the Browns as an undrafted free agent, was arrested this morning and charged with first-degree attempted murder, second-degree aggravated assault, and third degree endangering an injured victim, according to the Bergen Record.

Around 3 a.m. Sunday, police say, Walcott got into a fight with a man outside a strip club in Passaic, N.J., punching him in the head. There are no further details, but the man remains hospitalized in critical condition. Walcott turned himself in to police today, his bail set at $500,000.

Walcott was one of three Virginia players arrested in 2011 after they sent two men to the hospital. The charges against Walcott would be dropped, though his teammates pleaded guilty to assault.
