@AdamSchefter: Dolphins announced OC Mike Sherman relieved of his duties.

Well, thanks for brining Manziel to A&M, coach.

Bengals will probably draft a QB somewhere between rounds 2-4 to compete with Dalton. Could see them taking Mettenburger, Murray, Boyd or Garrappolo.

The biggest issue that I'm surprised hasn't been discussed with the expansion of the new playoffs, which is extremely dumb on a lot of levels, is the risk of injuries to key players... every play is risky enough.

You get injuries to valid contenders' key guys i.e. Von Miller, Aaron Rodgers, Gronk etc. in the early rounds of a new format and it's just another asterisk to the validity of a season.

I could see Cincy taking a Mettenberger in the middle rounds.

Saw dude at the train station with a Peko jersey. Looking like his wife just left him for another man.

I got Chargers and Pats winning.

Oddly enough the reasons being Tom Brady and Peyton Manning  :smh:

700

There was a dude at my bar in a Burfict jersey

Dude was hype then the 2nd half happened and he looked like his gf left him for Danny Woodhead

If he was that upset then he isn't a long time Bengals fan, otherwise he would've seen it coming

I kid...well kinda because everyone I was with all saw it coming. Team just has a bad aura around it come big games/playoff time

Cursed since 1991 and Boomer Esiason. Rough life.

Who has a better chance of winning on the road...

Rivers in Denver?
Or Luck in New England?

:nerd:

Rivers.

Colts gave up 40+ points to Carson Palmer, Andy Dalton, and Alex Smith over the last seven weeks.

that defense :x

it makes me sick how good andrew luck is. even with those 3 INTs, you just had this feeling he would score. it really is a pleasure watching him play. hate that he's in my division.

chargers have best chance on the road and colts will put up a formidable fight but patriots taking it.

So my friend is a big Alex Smith fan, and subsequently has adopted the Chiefs as his second team (dont shoot the messenger here. I think it is as absurd as you guys probably do). We were chatting last night and he was giving me the whole "I feel so bad for Alex" song and dance, as well as the 100% blame to the defense.

So it got me thinking. I brought this up, and of course, he like a child, said I was way off base and ended the conversation. I want your guys' opinion on this. My statement to him was "it is arguable that the Colts defense played as bad as the Chiefs defense did, maybe worse when you consider the turnovers.."

Now, I know there is a huge difference between giving up a 28 point lead and a team that allows that lead to be built, and then starts to play better D after. But look at the numbers.

Total Yards given up: 536 to 513 in favor of the Colts D
3rd down percentage: 56% to 50% in favor of the Chiefs D
Turnovers created: 4 to 1 in favor of the Chiefs D
Sacks: 2 to 1 in favor of the Colts D

I mean, it looks pretty similar to me. The biggest difference being the 4 turnovers to 1....which is in favor of the Chiefs! Both defenses were god awful, and that was really the point I was trying to make.

Can anyone chime in on this? I am out of line here?

I would have stopped listening once he said KC was his second team
