I like the name Kaep. He looks nothing like Drake. With that being said, the young ones are looking, with maybe Foles being included in that list if he shows he can stay poised and methodical.

So you're taking Brees (a smaller built dome QB) over Luck (a lumberjack) I like Brees and he's top 5 but I think Luck has the better career

Russell Wilson over Luck? Some of you guys are such ******g homers that it's disgusting.

Nah, Foles is Napoleon.

Other than Luck is taller do you have reasons to pick him over Wilson?

Why are people giving a pass to Peyton for 05 against Pitt? He was not good at all (though I attribute it to being rested prior, looked real rusty). I hope it isn't being pinned on Vandy, if not for an overturned INT (mistake according to the league) or most improbable fumble it doesn't even get close to being tied

You act like that's outlandish but both Football Outsiders and Pro Football Focus have said this year that Russell Wilson is the better quarterback...

Now if you're talking about a redraft I assume most people go with the 6'4 football archetype QB.  But Luck certainly has not been better to this point in his career, despite his ability to lead his team to insane comebacks after putting them in the hole with terrible interceptions (I mean that as a genuine compliment, I do).

Man idk what it is. I mean is he a good QB? Yes I give him that. But I'm just not as high on Wilson as everybody else is.

Right now Wilson > RG3 and Kaep

But that's where it stops for me.

I do like what Luck has done with inferior teams and weapons. That bodes well for the future, TB12 style. Russell hasn't had that chance yet, so can't say if he could or couldn't. Regardless I'd take either to replace Ben

I think Wilson is definitely better statistically. I'd take it one step further and say he's the more talented QB as well. He's more elusive than Luck, runs faster (4.55 vs. 4.60), is more accurate (though Luck has a more impressive deep ball), and though he sometimes suffers from height, it also helps him because defenders have a hard time locating him or reading his eyes. In terms of "innate" talent Wilson is better; aka he has a better "feel for the game." He's also a legend in the making as a leader.

That said, both are very similar QBs. Both suffer against the blitz, yet shine on 3rd downs and in the red zone, They play in different styles of offense yet in college they played in very similar styles of offense with very similar statistics (worth noting, Wilson's numbers were the better of the two in 2011). I think if Luck and Wilson swapped teams, its entirely possible that Luck would have the better numbers, though I think the gulf between their stats would be smaller than it is currently. Wilson is just a better QB.

I've been impressed with Russell, I just think Luck is superior in every way except for interceptions. Russell also has a top 5 team talent wise. Luck has Trent Richardson and Deon Branch. I think it's insane to even act like there's a GM out there that would select Russell over Luck.

I mean all of us are gonna stick by our dude so whats the point of our arguing? Entertainment? If so thats a good reason. LMAO

Russell Wilson > Andrew Luck

*Waits for Coltfanb to save his hero*

im a niner fan, and I agree with this. don't get me wrong, luck is one of the best of his generation, but RW is just as smart and accurate a passer on the run as luck is. luck is mobile, too..but he's not getting away from pressure the way RW is. I look at this dude russell, and he looks like a running back with a qb's vision and arm.

when breesus, PM and TB12 step down, I wouldn't necessarily hand the crown to luck or wilson. a lot of young qbs still getting better, including kaep, cam, and rg3. for some reason, I'm not sold on nick foles quite yet.

If i had to rank the young QBs. I know Sea and Car fans are gonna have a fit.

Luck

Kaep
Russell
Cam
Foles
Bob

I can't believe people are really saying Russell over Luck

yes, luck has the makings of an elite qb: canon of an arm, pocket presence, finds wrs on broken plays, rarely makes stupid passes, knows when to tuck it and run, wins games for his team...etc etc. but aren't all these qualities of RW? not to mention, defensive coordinators probably have nightmares about planning for RW's running ability

I suppose this argument would be a lot easier to decide if RW didn't play behind arguably the best defense in the league or have a probowl running back
