Luck is playing with a .500 team at best without him
 
man, ****, why the hell am I defending a seattle qb?? I feel all sorts of disgusted with myself.

but I saw the espn segment about him and the wallet the girl made him from her hospital bed...hard not to like this cat, RW.
 
Win that game, or lose that game, Luck is still the best young QB in the league.

Put him in Seattle and it would be a God damn joke what they do. Straight stupid.


I have less faith in Russel Wilson carrying Donald Brown, fumble Richardson, TY Hilton and inconsistent Fleener above and beyond with an average defense at best.
 
I think luck could do everything that Wilson has done with that Seahawks. I don't think Wilson would have the same success luck has had with the Colts though.
 
ehh, rw doesn't put up gaudy numbers because he doesn't have to. he plays on a run first team

I by no means mean to diminish what Wilson does, please understand. He has greatly impressed me at Wisconsin and Seattle.

I just simply do not think he is better than Andrew Luck is all.

Wilson very well might be in the Super Bowl next month, he isn't some bum or Alex Smith or anything.

And I think that goes hand and hand with his success. And that home field is unbelievable and that defense is great.

Which one of the young QBs is in as good a situation as Wilson is?
 
I'm not saying Wilson is bum either. I'm just saying I don't think he is as good as some would like to think.
 
On here, if you say player a > player b, you might as well be saying player b sucks. Or that's how arguments turn eventually

If people claim Luck to be better than Russy, thats cool..im fine with that claim

Hell if people claim Russell to be dead last out of the young QB's, thats cool too

I just dont get using hypotheticals to prove your point on whichever qb you think is better..seems pointless

cat's only been in the league two seasons and folks already swear he's the second coming of joe montana.

I agree that luck is a few steps away from proving he's cut from the same cloth as the greats, but I dont see it being so clear as to who will be the best of this young generation of QBs. the jury is still out. I'm not crowning anyone yet.

I have a strong feeling that there's gonna be an argument that is similar to the one between brady, manning and brees

Same to me as not understanding how a guy goes thru the last two years of college as one of THEE highest rated draft prospects in the last 30 years, and suddenly within a year another QB just gets anointed as better than him because his team gets 1-2 more wins.

That makes no sense to me, at all. But you're probably ok with that aspect.
 
So Luck is only better because "If" blah blah blah. I agree that Luck will probably have a better career, but find it funny when dudes try and argue right now Luck is with out a doubt better and only have hypotheticals to make their case :lol:

But wilson had a better college career than Luck...
All the scouts said that if wilson was 2 inches taller he would of been rated as high as Luck
