thanks bub!
At least mention where you heard it next time
My fault, I heard it on a sports radio show here in NY. Also saw it on NFL TV and Mike Garafalo's twitter. They said out for the year, Torn Labrum.
^yeah but i was talking as all major sports as a whole...No one cares about the NBA in this thread though, it's the NFL thread, and NFL dudes get into all the time on the field, maybe not to the effect as fighting in the streets after the game but it happens

to much BFF, we are the world, lets get together to run for breast cancer awareness month type ish....you got nfl players wearing pink...because they pink (straight vag)
what happened to dudes hating, competing and rivalry thing in sports?
We dont have to be friends.....if you put up 3 touch downs....then i gotta put up 4 just cause....nah'mean....
the men from this era...in all sports...are too much holding hands and singing kumbaya....it shouldn't be like that...
Real men compete and want to out do and embarass each other...its instictive....caveman neanderthal...
the strongest eats and gets the most yambs...the weak gets no food and no yambs...we need to go back to that...
everyone wants to be king...everyone want to be the man..
but these new sport figures...want to be like, be politically correct and friends..
NO MORE NEW FRIENDS....NO NEW DUDES
regarding the jets game - yesterday i was all like "that was a bs call from the refs" (the penalty on the first field goal attempt by the jets)
but you know what? f*** the patriots and belichick in particular - perennial cheater. f*** 'em
You're looking at a screengrab from last weeks' New England win over the Saints, shared by the Globe's Ben Volin. On a New Orleans field goal attempt, rookie tackle Chris Jones is pushing Will Svitek into the offensive lineman. It's the same illegal move, with the same two players, that got the Pats flagged against the Jets last night. This was a designed play, and the Jets reportedly knew it was coming—and alerted officials to look for it.
so we tried to get by on a technicality or perceived loophole in the rule.

Sounds so familiar...........

Bryant Mckinnie back in Miami , female drama will ensue
Apparently his family wanted him to stop playing football after his week 3 concussion which was a pretty bad one... Latest is that hes walking and could be released from ICU today.Annoyed that ESPN reporting "notable injuries" from week 7 and leaving out JerMichael who may not ever play football again and spent the night in the hospital...
that is weird actually. haven't heard anything on him at all, let alone career threatening. cause of the neck or cause of another concussion?
I'm talking about all day TV coverage... I was home all morning and early afternoon with ESPN on and I didn't see it mentioned once... Passing over it in the injuries segments had meAnnoyed that ESPN reporting "notable injuries" from week 7 and leaving out JerMichael who may not ever play football again and spent the night in the hospital...
"Sources: Packers' Finley in ICU after injury"
That's on the front page of ESPN.com
smhthe patriots "thought" the rule applied to the second level only, not to players on the line. we were wrong in that. the video from the summer shown to players and teams explaining the rule actually mentions the second level. however, the rule is not written that way. so we tried to get by on a technicality or perceived loophole in the rule. and the jets knew it from watching film and told the refs to look for it. smart by the jets, dumb by us. this whole mess is on our coaches. the rule was called by the book and it was called correctly. this call helped the jets for sure, however, any pats fan who claims this is why we lost is in denial. we lost that game long before the game went into OT. jets beat us fair and square.
jets stay snitchin' tho
