How often do WRs get traded mid-season and make an impact on their new team though?

Off the top of my head, I can think of some who experienced varying degrees of "success".

Moss to Minnesota in 2010: 13 receptions for 174 yards and 2 TDs before being cut after 4 games.

Roy Williams to Dallas in 2008: 19 receptions for 198 yards and 1 TD in 10 games.

Mike Thomas to Detroit in 2012: 5 receptions for 28 yards and 1 TD in 9 games.

Derrick Mason to Houston in 2011: 6 receptions for 55 yards in 7 games.

Deion Branch to New England in 2010: 48 receptions for 706 yards and 5 TDs in 11 games.

Braylon Edwards to New York Jets in 2009: 35 receptions for 541 yards and 5 TDs in 11 games.

Brandon Lloyd to St. Louis in 2011: 51 receptions for 683 yards and 5 TDs in 11 games.

Skill position players have a steeper learning curve with new teams and are disadvantaged by not having the luxury of OTAs/TC/etc. to acclimate themselves not only to the playbook but their teammates as well.

I don't get why Denver wouldn't go for Jared Allen. That defense needs help and I think he would make that impact.

Didn't think Nicks would go anywhere. Team still has a shot with the division being worthless and Nicks still is producing.

Cleveland wanted too much for Gordon but plenty of teams could have used him.

:pimp: gives us more flexibility right now and a real nose tackle

With Mayo out and Ninkovich getting more usage coverage wise on Sunday I could see us playing more 3-4 now

Percy probably will be back next week.

Sidney hasn't been fantastic for us this year.  But it's still a bummer.

Was Sidney Rice placed on the all glass team a few weeks ago? If not he needs to be there now.

ill be fine guys, Niner fans are ghosts these days anyways so its not like I have to worry about anyone responding

Oh Hi :D Overrated? May I ask who your NFL team is?
