You act like he went switched between 2 bum teams, the year before Deion went to the niners they lost in the NFC championship to the Cowboys. Only difference between Deion and Revis is playmaking ability.

Isn't sports about Playmaking? Deion was rarely targeted and still managed to grab 5-7 INTs per year. Not to mention special teams but, that's an entirely different ball game. The point I'm making is people are so quick to anoint Revis. He's been appointed the best CB since like '09. He was a top 15 pick. Was a force at Pittsburgh. When Deion played, he was the clear cut #1. Above Rod. Above Aeneas Williams. Above Dale Carter. Above James Hasty. Now, tell me. Even when Revis was considered #1. Guys like Brandon Flowers were in the same league. But, New York Media, is New York Media. Ain't heard a peep from Revis down in Tampa Bay, lol. Except that the locker room ain't Schiano's...

Anyone think Revis is playing zone because he's not 100%?

It's possible. Because he sure isn't being used correctly playing Zone D week in and week out.

With that said, I'd gladly welcome him back on the cheaper side  .

Dude giving up on Revis cause his arrival doesn't have that ****** team in SB contention?

I was never a big fan of Revis to begin with honestly. He's a sound ballplayer. I'm not knocking his talent by any means. He's a pro's pro but, he's been overrated because of his tenure in NYC.

CB's get burned...I'm not sure what you all are trying to prove by posing a few examples of when Revis got toasted. Happens to the best of them. He's a GREAT DB and has been for a long time.

I mean, are we gonna say AP sucks after he was held to 42 yards rushing a few weeks back? Look at the whole body of work instead of a few examples here and there.

Bruh, dude wanted more bread. Was awarded his wish, and was traded as such. Why didn't the Jet's want to pay him? Honest question.

Just for example Antonio Cromartie is considered a very good corner but gets burned at least a couple times a game now whether the WR catches the ball or Cro breaks it up he gets burned a lot but makes up for it with his good hands and great catch up speed. Watching Revis his whole Career he NEVER gets burnt outside 3 or 4 memorable times in his WHOLE CAREER meanwhile being matched up with the opposing teams BEST WR every game with rarely any help over the top at all . You cannot deny his greatness.

Bruh, he got out of New York, but his contract isn't worth nearly as much as what you think because that **** isn't guaranteed. Bucs protected themselves incase he was a shell of himself. Let's see how Revis would do in more man situations (instead of zone) before saying all of this nonsense. THey are not using him to HIS strengths.

Yea I'm quite sure the Jets are totally satisfied with Cro as their #1 and Dee Miller as the corner of the future right now

Cro is STILL learning how to be a CB. He was a WR in high school, a WR at FSU until being switched to CB his sophomore year. Then, he tore his ACL. He did have that 10 INT season in San Diego but, that was primarily as a nickel CB and off brute athleticism. Cromartie is a solid CB don't get me wrong, but the NFL loves fluke seasons. He's a playmaker like Revis so, they cancel out in that category. Revis is the better tackler. And lets not forget, Cro is a legit 6'3" so he's at a disadvantage but still plays hard. Revis is solid in a down era, in a pass happy league.

I swear this isn't a troll rant, lol. I just expected more leadership from Revis this season. But, I know it's a down season for the Bucs. Although Ronde Barber has a ring, he suffered horrible seasons after 2002, when Sapp, Lynch, Brooks left. I guess I'm asking to much.
