:wow:

Holy ****! Dad going HAM on the 'Fins MB....wow.

Damnnnn Aren't martins parents both Harvard law grads? This is brutal for the Fins and only gonna get worse now. At least it's clear why tannehill was getting rocked that line had no chemistry

Welp: http://t.co/VcGDRbF9YR Incognito is a jack*** terrible teammate and person, should be cut. How no one else in that organization stepped in once this got too far says a lot about the character of the coaches and players on that squad if they did know about this and just kept piling on. Shameful, Totally incomparable to Dez saying "no" to doing rookie tasks, he wasn't stepping to a pro bowl O lineman whos the most accomplished player they have on the line and is a bully, reckless player on the field with no damns given. and not everyone is built like Dez personality wise either.

Lmao if that's his pops.

Not surprised about the revis article. Out of curiousity, how much of his contract is guaranteed. I could see the holdouts he pulled with the jets coming back to bite him in the future. Teams will tolerate someone they deem difficult when they play at an elite level but when that production starts to decline they pull a complete 180.

Personally 12 mil in New York and all the marketing opportunities that come with playing in New York would be better then 16 in a small market like Tampa imo.

I doubt a defensive player gets a Nike shoe named after them in 2013 unless their playing in a big market regardless of how good they are.

The fact that no other teammate told Richie to chill is questionable. This went beyond hazing, he targeted him because he knew he was soft. He came to play football not deal with losers who have nothing better to do than bother people.

I see both sides of this issue. Yeah what incognito did was od, but your a grown man. At some point you gotta say enough is enough and stand up for yourself. I think this is just another testament as to how soft the current era is. Growing up going to school if someone tried you you stood up for yourself. Maybe you won or maybe you lost but most the time when you stood up for yourself the bullying stopped. This is a grown man were talking about here.

Incognito is a scumbag and deserves whatever punishment he gets. Please believe that, but the other player should've at least made some type of effort to stand up for himself.

This dude even looks like a typical bully

1: Richie Incognito left this VM for Jonathan Martin in April 2013: "Hey, wassup, you half n----- piece of (expletive)...

Adam Schefter@AdamSchefter 3m

2. More Incognito to Martin: "I saw you on Twitter, you been training ten weeks. (I want to) (expletive) in your (expl) mouth....

Adam Schefter@AdamSchefter 3m

3. Incognito VM to Martin: "(I'm going to) slap your (expletive) mouth. (I'm going to) slap your real mother across the face (laughter).

Adam Schefter@AdamSchefter 2m

4. Incognito to Martin, all on same VM in April 2013: "(Expletive) you, you're still a rookie. I'll kill you."
Richie can always get a job w/ the eagles they dont mind that kind of talk there

Can't lie I'm loving whats happening down here with phins. All offseason we heard how dysfunctional the jets were and how they were a "circus". Hopefully my boys get that sweep in December, I'll stay shut til then.

Also, how much money on that Revis contract guaranteed? I thought they could cut him without any cap hit after this year?

At being a grown man and getting "bullied"

Dude ain't never gonna able to live that down. He's gonna get the sensitive treatment from now on.

You never know man, mental health is a real issue and just because you're "grown" doesn't mean it can't effect you. Especially I think dude is rookie, I'm sure he felt like he wanted to "fit in".

Reported for a personal attack

Next time give an insightful response on the topic at hand rather then name call. This isn't kindergarten.

An insightful response would be you explaining why you have a restraining order against a another dude.
Why didnt you just stand up to your bully?

Btw reporting someone for calling you out is exactly what I mean.

At being a grown man and getting "bullied"

Dude ain't never gonna able to live that down. He's gonna get the sensitive treatment from now on.

This is a great take on this situation after seeing what the texts and voicemails apparently said. If it was known dude is emotionally fragile and has had issues in the past with depression, what kind of man are you (incognito) to pile on?

I find it hilarious how some are soooo quick to target the sensitivity of someone who likely has emotional, mental health trauma related to being bullied yet won't mention how despicable the behavior of the aggressor is, I'm sorry i have more respect for Martin handling this the way he did than a lockerroom and front office/coaching staff who didn't stand up for one of their "family" and tolerates the stuff Incognito allegedly did and denies lockerroom and team chemistry issues.

 at this "oh he's a football player and can't get bullied or god forbid be considered "soft" " what?! Some of yall clearly haven't had any dealings with people who suffer from this kind of thing, and if you have then please readjust your mentality

He's not a rookie though. Incognito found someone to pick on and he was incapable of standing up for himself. You figure that someone in the locker room would put an end to it, but I guess they wanted to see him step up and defend his honor.

:smh: Man...this situation is all bad. I have a feeling that we may have seen the last of Igcognito in the NFL.

Well said. Obviously, we all have our opinions of how we would have tried to handle it. However, no one knows what Martin is dealing w/ on the inside. If it was as simple as just "dealing" w/ Igcognito, he would have done it. This was an ongoing problem and it's really a shame that this is what it had to come to.

Quick question...if he was easily outed as "soft" and "sensitive" by his own teammates...what would the reaction be if someone on another team picked up on it during a game and went in on the trash talk?

If dude seriously is "mentally ill" then maybe football isn't in his calling. What happens if he lines up across someone wearing a different color jersey and they say some OD **** to him and he cracks? Do we fine the other guy?

And I'm not trying to make light of what Incognito did...I'm just asking a hypothetical.

I stand corrected, but you never know how this turns out. Like martin could come to work and start shooting, mental health issues are real and sometimes you know he has a problem until its too late. Marin's case isn't the only case in that locker room too. Its really easy to judge on the outside looking in. Some of those dollar amounts they were shaking down the rookies for are crazy.
