Which says more about the team's skill level than his own. His completion percentage was two points lower than Drew Brees'.

Dolphins release CB Richard Marshall, per league source.

I don't care that his completion percentage is next to Brees. Brees isn't throwing pick 6's everywhere, or fumbling the ball, or multiple 3 and outs for 3 quarters before prevent defenses allow him to get "hot"

Carson was as much a reason for Oakland always falling behind as any of their other players. He was the KING of garbage stats last year.

Maybe, but it's not easy to put up ANY numbers on the league's least talented team. I think he'll play with more discipline and could have a very strong season if the OLine isn't complete garbage.

Well, he had as about as many yards as he did in the 2nd half as he did in the 1st half as shown above.... and just to pile on, more 20+ yard completions in the first half than the second, and less interceptions in the first half than the second half.

based on what i have heard.

- von was asked for a urine sample.
- von proceeds to give sample and spills sample as its to be turned over to sample collector.
- collector asks for another sample and von says i can't right now. hang around and i will give you another one after practice.
- after practice von gives another sample.
- sample is diluted.
- nfl suspends von.

is that about right

a six game suspension for a diluted sample even though he gave another one a few hours later?
Feel like that's probably the "Denver Talk Radio" version of events
its was on espn.com or nfl.com i believe.

Nice to see people still make excuses for Carson Palmer after only a decade in the league.

What exactly am I making excuses for? I didn't say he was a good QB at this juncture of his career -- simply said a 4,000 yard passer that only has had combine studs to throw to since he was in Oakland is probably happy to have an actual Top 5 receiver in his arsenal. Hasn't had that since '06 Chad Johnson.

However, the one coming off as making excuses is sort of you. I posted a stat that debunked your "garbage stats" point, and now you're trying to brush it off as someone making excuses for a player.

I'm ready for the season, but I hope the schedule makers don't force me to get an NFL package this season. Last season, for some reason the Chargers, Lions and Bengals were on my TV every week. Even the local Cardinals weren't on as often as the the damn Chargers

^^ Imagine being a Bucs fan from NY and having the jets and giants on tv every week :x :x :x :x

Seriously, the Chargers have Zero interesting going on at this point. No AFC West rivalry games for SNF/MNF this year, please.

I feel like the Chiefs and Eagles are both going to suck and will be on national TV a bunch.

No lie B

I can deal with the Giants because the dudes are entertaining as hell week after week  :smh:

The jets though :x :smh:

That struggle football :smh:

The struggle is real son :smh:

Thankfully I love football enough to watch the Giants every week and any other random game that's on

from espn:

"The NFL has two drug policies -- one that covers use of performance-enhancing substances and the "Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse" that applied to Miller's case.

There are ways to violate the drug policy without necessarily testing positive. They include missing a test, refusing to test, tampering with tests or giving a diluted urine sample."

For a bit guy like Devin Hester, he's lasted a LONG time on the Bears. Yeah, he's set multiple records, but still those special teams records are short lived normally.

Pretty good indicator that he's not your typical one (clearly), but I think his stay in Chicago is coming to an end very soon.
