This has to be a joke right?

 My initial reaction, too.

Then I looked up and saw:

Its been mentioned, but part of the problem is a good amount of these guys are trying to make big hit, not tackle.

they're going to go with something govt related i bet...senators or some crap. just make them the hogs

Teammate Matt Spaeth had the same injury, and his recovery time is 8-10 weeks. Apparently Bell's Lisfranc injury is not as severe as Spaeth's, but they're going to get a second opinion.

Keller was in the air falling down. What is he going to use to push off of to truck anyone let alone someone someone just 40 pounds lighter, especially if his his legs are wrapped up? If babies can seriously hinder daddy from going to work clinging on their legs then 40 pounds is nothing.

And being taller actually works against people. If they're hit around the waist and tip over it's harder to realign and catch their balance.

Hogs would be cool.  They could also go with Redtails like the movie, re: tribute to the Tuskeegee Airmen.  That would be pretty sick considering DC's status as a military center and a majority black city.

...I'm guessing a lot of Virginia would not like that, though

The Bostic hit is totally and cool and shouldn't be fined, but in fast time the replay SOUNDS like his helmet made contact with the receiver's helmet first... more than anything else at least. The replay I saw on YouTube never slowed it down, so maybe that's incorrect, but that's what I observed.

And if it was 99% body and the 1% that was helmet was the first 1%, then shouldn't that be fined based on the ridiculous rules?

Maybe those that saw it in slo-mo saw it different.

Free safety LaRon Landry (knee) back on the practice field for the first time in 2 weeks.

"What protein shake do you drink? How to get skinny like a little baby?"

Yikes, Jay Glazer said at best case he misses 4-6 weeks (Leveon Bell)

.

And then theres this gem;
League sources tell ESPN's Adam Schefter that Dolphins LG Richie Incognito is accused of knocking out a hotel security guard.

However, Incognito doesn't appear to have been charged with a crime, and the hotel is "unwilling" to part with its security tape. Schefter believes Incognito could still be punished under the league's personal conduct policy, but for now it appears unlikely. A loose cannon on the field, it's surprising Incognito hasn't caused more trouble off of it.

He is such a contradiction to his name.

Dad was CIA. Dad is disappoint.

Adam Schefter on ESPN moments ago:

Le'Veon Bell expected to miss 6 weeks.

Incognito suffered abrasions and bruises, but refused treatment, the report states.

Here's the truth about what happened, according to Miami Beach police: Incognito was trying to break up a fight, and got hit.

Adam Beasley ‏@AdamHBeasley 41m
Miami Beach police's version of events was that Fontainebleau guard Carlos Joseph hit Incognito.

Adam Beasley ‏@AdamHBeasley 41m
I gotta say, if ESPN had simply called Miami Beach PD for the police report, this would be a far different story.

Adam Beasley ‏@AdamHBeasley 34m
Incognito was the only one injured, according to Miami Beach police. Again, he refused treatment. He and his friends were kicked out.

Adam Beasley ‏@AdamHBeasley 19m
Long story short: Beach police heard two differing stories, and decided not to charge Incognito. Shows you who they found more credible.

Adam Beasley ‏@AdamHBeasley 11m
Under injuries sustained by Carlos Joseph (bouncer), on the police report: None.

So yeah, ESPN seems to have run with the wrong details, ya know, like the actual police report.

What type of hit is more legal and clean than Bostic's hit?? That's sad. I know people joke about the softness of the league, but maybe pro touch football is closer than we think.

I'm at the beach now and I saw this the other day. Looked at it for a minute b4 I figured out it was chris davis. Right next to the rg3/skins bro-lax jersey lololol. These things are awful.

Wonder what that Eastbay jersey with Steeler on it looks like

Really hope Bell doesn't miss too much time. The Steelers are going to need him this year without much for Big Ben to pass to. That whole team is kinda falling to pieces now that I think about it. Seems like every team Todd Haley goes to turns to **** within a couple years of him being there.
