Jets about to be 2-0
nerd.gif
Easy...they have to play first.

jets front 7 on defense looked pretty good. don't know if that's the jets or bucs though

I said the jets defense wasnt gonna be as bad as people made I out to be. The front 7 is solid.

The only questions is the safety play.

Cro was one of the better corners in L last season after Revis went down.
Let's hope the D can hold up. Given Rex, I don't think that would be a big problem. Cro....smh. He's good when he's paying attention, but the times when he's out of position, he looks BAD, real BAD lol. I think he can still hold it down despite his tendency for mental mistakes at times.

Some of these Cowboys fans man

Jerry Jones does a great Job at getting y'all hyped up. Then they always blow it at the end.

That's cause Jerry wants a circus instead of a football team. Until he learns to stay out of the pure football on field aspect of the Cowboys, they'll continue to spin their wheels. If you could trade or release GMs, I'm pretty sure they would've already done that.

Well that's week 1....kinda disappointed I didn't see any E threats but we got 16 more weeks to go
400

I don't think you were in this thread much, so no there were no threats to go around

Amendola , Vareen and Sudfeld most likely out for Thurs . im starting to get nervous as ****

WR -- Edelman , Thompkins, Boyce & Slater
RB -- Ridley , Blount & Leon Washington
TE -- Hoomanawanui

.... that's it

I'm calm.

Just find it funny, a few dudes in particular, that were posting in here heavy all off-season... trollin with high expectations & unrealistic predictions are now MIA.

You just said the cowboys are going to the Super Bowl after a week one performance in which the Giants gave up 6 turnovers and it still took a onside kick for you to seal the game.

And your talking about unrealistic expectations ?

Chill out pot.

Blue Moon, I didn't just start saying this...

I said this BEFORE the season started, that week 1 performance just attributed to my prediction that our defense would be top 10 this year, and what the hell does it matter how we won the game?

We were up the ENTIRE game, you guys were down the ENTIRE game, it all resulted in a W... nothing else matters.

you do realize that they gave up the 3rd most yards only behind the packers and ravens right? if anything the week 1 performance contradicted your prediction.

You're bringing up last years stats that put us in the company of the superbowl champs. Thanks?

those are this years stats. the only team that gave up more yards than the cowboys in week 1 of THIS SEASON, are the packers and ravens.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/09/10/patriots-dont-bother-practicing-for-jets/

One of the perils of the short weeks caused by Thursday games is the lack of time to prepare.

So the Patriots, tasked with getting ready for Geno Smith and the Jets in two days, have decided not to.

According to Albert Breer of the NFL Network, the Patriots have scheduled just a walk-through for today, meaning there won’t be a full practice session prior to Thursday’s game.

Expect the Jets to play this for full dramatic effect, using it to fuel the no-respect engine that keeps players moving.

But the reality is, there was a long week in front of the opener, giving Bill Belichick and his staff plenty of time to game-plan. And with a roster that’s still populated by stars nursing injuries, easing up a bit now might be the more prudent play for the long season ahead.

:smh: Godforbid the Jets pulled a no-practice. Media would call for our heads.

yep -- no full practice for us before the Thurs game

we're going to need a BIG game from our RB core

i don't even know what to say to that. i ******g hate thursday night football...that's for sure.

Dude baseball and basketball are the best games to go to for kids.

Football :smh:

I was at the Bucs / Jets game and dudes were yelling at the Bucs fans, who were just quiet and enjoying the game.

Just being straight ******** :smh:

Absolutely the worst fans to be around. I turn down free tickets multiple times a year because I'd rather not deal with them. Baseball and hockey live? Oh yeah

And thurs night football sucks

This **** has got to stop.  So Suh loses less than 1% of his total salary for the year?  If the NFL continues to keep giving Suh a slap on the wrist, he will continue his childish, dirty ways, and eventually will end someone's career.  This dude needs to be suspended for a lengthy period of time.

there's a difference between rooting for your team, and talking **** to other fans rooting for their teams. root for your team, don't curse, and we're good in my book.
