"He is a run first QB" ... Fools

:smh: :smh:

 Had someone tell me Geno Smith was a run first QB. But really, are there honestly any run first Qbs even in the league? Running 10-13 read option plays doesn't = run first imo. These guys are just using another trait of their skill set.

run first QB is the stupid label they give to athletic black quarterbacks they haven't thoroughly watched.

Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter 35s
Patriots WRs expected to play tonight have combined to catch 81 passes in the NFL, 76 of which from Julian Edelman.

:Rollin at Buc Em. The ultimate homer. The same guy who was riding with Raheem Morris when he was the coach.

And let's not forget this gem from 2011.

As someone who watched every minute of every Bucs game this last season, there's no quarterback in the NFL that I'd pick to lead our team over #5

Holy **** he really said that?

The other day he said Clowney was just going to be another Bowers. :smh:

A Tampa Bay Buc that has 4.5 sacks in his entire 3 year career. That's who he compared to Jadaveon Clowney.

Like I said earlier, when it rains it pours.................and right now Buc Em is in a monsoon.

i love how these writers who preview any Pats game always say the key to the game for the other team is knocking down TB12. gee, really? i thought letting him (or a brees, manning, rodgers) just sit back there all day would be more effective. what a revelation!!!

who hires these people?

You've got to slog through so much **** to find good articles these days.

"The key to beating the Vikings is stopping Adrian Peterson."

YOU DON'T SAY?

I also want whoever put Dilfer/Boomer in the booth fired.

I don't even go to ESPN, CBS etc for articles any more. NFL.Com can come up with a gem or two every month but even they can be basic/biased. The SB Nation team sites are probably the best out there for sports. Don't know about the rest of the league but at least for the NFC East SB Nation is second to none.

In that quote from 2011 I was talking about 2010 Josh Freeman. 25 touchdowns, 6 picks and a 96 passer rating leading the Bucs to a 10-6 record as the youngest team in the league in his first full season as a starter. Would have made the playoffs if not for the 8-8 Seahawks making it and losing the tiebreaker to the Packers. Dude was like a 6'6 version of what Russell Wilson was last year. I have no idea what happened to that quarterback and neither do really any other Bucs fans.

Every Week In Review thread that year had a countless amount of you like "Josh Freeman :smokin" "Josh Freeman is the truth" "The black Big Ben :smokin". I really should go back and find some good quotes from you dudes. Everybody was on his nuts hard that year. I remember seeing more than a few times that Freeman, Blount and Mike Williams were the "new Big 3"

That's ALL they say in the paper I read on my way to work.

"The key to tonight is stopping Tom Brady and putting points on the board."

Thanks chief.

On another note its soo clear the Jets Shutting Sanchez down for the year on purpose. Kid is prolly perfectly healthy.

Josh Freeman is on his way to becoming one of the 10 best QBs in the NFL. I don't know if he'll ever crack the Top 5.. and I wouldn't call him "great" until he does that.

But as a Bucs fan, I'd be happy if Freeman only becomes a Top 10 QB. It sounds too ridiculous to be true, but the Bucs have never had a Top 10 QB, RB, or WR at anytime during their nearly 40-year history as a franchise! Don't agree? I can name 10 players who were better than James Wilder, Mark Carrier, and Warrick Dunn during their best seasons. Really puts into perspective just how good Monte Kiffin's Tampa 2 was in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Exciting to think that Josh Freeman, LeGarrette Blount, and Mike Williams all might crack the Top 10 at their respective positions in the next few years.
