Oh foreals? So back in 2004 when I was in HIGH SCHOOL, when jerseys were hotter than ever and everyone and their mommas were sporting sports jerseys, you weren't sporting any jerseys except the one of your favorite team?
Gimme a break. This was 9 years ago man. I was 16. Ain't like I was wearing a Raiders jersey yesterday.
can honestly say i have never sported another nfl teams jersey besides the colts, same goes with the nba only laker jerseys, mlb only dodger jerseys, and nhl only la kings jerseys... just sayin

Didn't want to take away from the Larry Fitz thread, so I'm bringing the discussion over here.
We got on the topic of Art Monk. A certain NTer said that Monk was elected to the HOF on a "sympathy" vote. Yall give any credence to that? Not so much on Monk's merits for the HOF, but rather certain players get in on sympathy vote.
Personally, I think there is a heavy media bias. Guys who should never have the power to decide who is elected to the HOF ultimately decide these players' fates. I think it's a joke. It's insane that players like Monk/Carter had to wait as long as they did to get to Canton. WHat's going to be even crazier is when Terrell Owens/Randy Moss are HOF eligible. As good as their #s were, they probably won't be first ballot HOFers even though they were both regarded as two of the best at their position in NFL history. Shoot, you can probably make a case for both guys being #2/#3 respectively. It's their dealings with the media (and teammates, to some effect) that will keep them waiting. What happened to getting in the HOF based off of your stats/accolades?
