I initially thought this, but I want to give him a chance.
from the things i've read..i'm already pretty happy about the changes.. for example i see us running a ton of 2 TEs sets (celek and ertz) with james casey as a FB/H-back.. then you still have shady and desean or mac or avant with that group

chip's words: "We are going to go three tight ends in a game. Now, if they go three linebackers, we spread them out and if they go [defensive backs], we smash you. So, pick your poison.”

http://www.nj.com/eagles/index.ssf/2013/04/nfl_draft_2013_eagles_coach_ch.html

from that formation.. celek, ertz and casey are all good receivering TEs.. then shady is a good receivering back.. and then you have desean and maclin,  who have both taken handoffs before

Eagles will be interesting to watch.

It blows my mind that i could see every single team making the playoffs in the NFC except for the Panthers and Cardinals. Rams more than likely wont either but they've got good things happening over there and i think one of these next few seasons they're gonna come up. Parity at its finest.

I disagree, Lions were just in the playoffs and Bush is gonna do wonders. Thats not what matters though. The Lions are capable of making the playoffs. If you think the Panthers will be better do you think every team has a chance except the Cards then? Im just saying the parity is whats insane.. Not comparing two teams capable of making the playoffs.

That 10 win season was a fluke....aint happening again..especially in that division...

edit:

i do think arizona will stink..i also think some front runners are gonna fall from grace to join them in the abyss(insert cowboys joke here)...it happens every year like clockwork...see detroit from last season..

Lions will be an interesting follow. They have the talent to compete, but they have yet to put it all together and they play in a very tough division. Stafford needs to get back into his groove too.

Whether it was a fluke or not it still proves my point. Theyre capable of making the playoffs. Im not saying they will, or that anyone else for sure will. Obviously since 14 teams cant make the playoffs. Im saying i dont know who will, cause so many teams have the potential. And that is not only crazy but awesome.

^ i dont see throwing for 5000 yards as a winning recipe in the NFL....too one one dimentional, add to that the chances of him duplicating that 5000 yd 40 td 17 int season is pretty slim IMO...

add in his inability to stay healthy and nah...

i do agree theyre talented...so were the eagles last year(this year too)..so are the cowboys every year...so on and so forth..

I dont know how to break it down any further for you to understand thats not what im saying.

Now if i had to pick what I think will happen or put money on it then yea I agree with you, I wouldnt put the Lions in the playoffs.

i was replying to our resident twin city user actually..lol..my bad tho, just hyped to talk pigskin for real...

but speaking of parody...who do you guys think are playoff teams from last season that wont be in this year?? and vice versa?

Washington.

I want to say Houston too, but not convinced just yet. Colts winning that division though. Texans had their one year window.

I would've said Minnesota before the draft, but I objectively love what they're doing and think they'll be very solid again.

the NFC is gonna be tough, as of now i have San Fran, Seattle, GB, ATL.... the rest im not sure.

AFC is Houston, Tom Brady, Denver and rest not sure.

Interesting Season to say the least

 Colts winning the division. They'll be in front of the Titans and Jags, so I'll give them that

Taco Tuesdays and Fast Food Friday? Andy Reid's a school bus driver or something  ?

I wouldn't be surprised if the Colts won the south Peep. Ya'll boy Matt Schaub is in fast decline while Luck is getting better. Unless he has a sophomore slump, watch out.

Honestly the cowboys aren't that talented, the media just ignores the fact that the lines are the most important part of a football team

No way they make the playoffs this year.

Once the cowboys traded back and took a center that was even surprised he was drafted that high, I called their season

i agree wit the former....as for the latter, cowboys were one game away from the playoffs the last two years...aint really THAT far away...
