Smh y'all gotta get your comprehension up. I said the bandwagon fans in Philly and DC who ONLY tout their rings in the past and looooove to go on about history and America's team blah blah blah. Have no connection at all and ONLY picked the team to be contrarians.

Fact is the team has been poorly run and has frankly been poor for the last 15 yrs. It's those people who make the other NFC east fans laugh and mock your squad so blame them, not us. I just wait for another Romo snafu

My post wasn't directed at you, it was a general statement made through observing this board for several years.

Although, I'll still never understand the "You don't live in (insert city) so you shouldn't be rooting for (insert team) rule."

 ah ok gotcha but yeah I did mean the casual fans who hide when Dallas has a bad game or season but will be the loudest when they do anything positive. Real cowboys fans I have no beef with other than clear difference of opinion  most of the people I've seen are older, some are my relatives and they definitely flipped to Dallas in the mid 90s or late 80s. And when I say they are frauds, they say ' 5 rings!!!!, Americas team!!!' It's annoying as I know the ONLY reason they picked Dallas was because of their past success during the time they changed up

And I just believe in that rule personally I'm 4 for 4 with Philly. Even when our teams suck (sixers) I'm still riding with them. I just feel like people who pick a team that is in direct rivalries with their home team do it just to be contrarian or difficult. Like unless you have a personal vendetta against your team, just roll with your local squads it gives you more pride and a connection when they win and bring shine to your city/state. I realize it's a weird stance but I just hold to it  unless you live in an area with no team.

Reminds me of Colts fans in Houston...or maybe they're just Peyton Manning fans, not sure.

  at that Eli gif

Jumpman, don't be that guy

And I like all the "Giants lost this game; the Cowboys didn't win it." responses. As if teams haven't benefited from the Cowboys' blunders/miscues over the years. A loss is a loss.

Let a Cowboys' fan say something like that after a loss and y'all would lose your ****.

And the cliche "The Cowboys won a game now they think they're going to the Super Bowl" comments are old. Virtually, no Cowboys' fan was saying that nonsense after that uneven performance last night (at least on here).  And if any Cowboys' fan feels that this team is a Super Bowl contender after that game then they're delusional.

On another note, that Calvin Johnson SportsCenter commercial is fantastic.

Ok I'm officially mad now . I tried uploading that gif last night but I swear I always have problems with gifs on NT. It always says "You are over the limit 2.3MB" or "An error has occurred." Can you walk me through on how to upload gifs correctly?

Ok that does make more sense to me. Those fans that go into hiding probably aren't real football fans to begin with, and hence, I can see the bandwagon statements that are made.

My reasons for becoming a Cowboys fan are quite different that most. My brother, who is 10 years older than me, grew up a diehard 49ers fan. For the record, my family is originally from Jamaica and I'd prefer not to go too in depth of where we've lived since coming to this country . But back on topic, as a 49ers fan, he's always hated the Cowboys because of their huge rivalry in the 80s. My brother and I always had a sibling rivalry when it came to anything and everything when we were younger. He loved The Ultimate Warrior, I was big on Hulk Hogan (yes I cried when Hogan missed the leg drop and Warrior hit him with the splash and pinned him). Growing up without cable, I got into sports at a young age since it was always on TV and seeing how passionate he was for the 49ers and how passionate he was for his hate with the Cowboys, I decided to like them. Little did I know two years later they would win 3 SB's within 4 years. But I've been rooting for Dallas ever since and nothing has changed. I personally will never forgive Jerry for getting rid of Jimmy Johnson and crushing my dream of being the only team to win 3 SBs in a row.

I got a lot of my boys into football growing up and taught them the rules and such so because we were already cool and they were being introduced to football, they latched onto the Cowboys too  . At the end of the day, the heated arguments and difference in opinions are what makes this all fun  . Because in reality, we get in depth and have heated arguments over something we really have no control over.

lol the best part of the gif is missing where he looks up to the sky with an expression like "why god why?"

To be fair, I liked what I had heard yesterday..."Most games aren't won...they're lost."

Miscues, mistakes, blunders, mental lapses, miscommunication, and overall lack of execution, etc...

That brady sign

The random shots fired @ Chester

The Giants Offense last night

The Cowboys :pimp:
