I think it very well could be because of his cornrows, but like you said who knows.  I say that because for any NFL fan base out there if Ray Horton were hired I'm almost certain that 90% if not more of that fanbase has never heard of or seen Ray Horton.

So if there were to get a visual of Ray Horton for the first time or see him take that stage at the facility for the team he just got hired to and give a press conference I think the fanbase would automatically have a negative viewpoint or image of him just based upon the cornrows and what they THINK it represents.  Sometimes it's not all about what you know, for some people you need to have a look that says you know what you're doing.

You guys really don't know the business. You think these billionaire owners are going to bypass a coach that can help their franchise, all while a third of their players have braids/dreads ?... Reach and a half

- Grown men should not wear corn rows. I wouldn't hire him either.

- Josh McDaniels should never get a HC job. Guy was awful in Den. Can't believe Cle even thought about bringing him in.

you know who else was bad in their first HC job ? Bill Belichick and Pete Carroll

not saying he will end up being a good HC , but just because it didnt work the 1st time doesnt mean it wont work the 2nd l

Yeah I do... You don't think there's history of countless billionaires doing that in the past?

He was also horrible as an OC in St. Louis

You have proof of that?

Maybe that's why they traded away Richardson he had dreads too! Can't believe I didn't think of that before

I think Rob Ryan should be forced to cut his hair too. I would make him if I was the owner or GM. I'm a Yankees fan and I love the no facial hair or long hair policy. Keep your franchise looking clean and professional. Corn rows and dreads are not a professional look and I wouldn't want that to represent my team.

You can't think of a single example of someone putting prejudice before economic gain? Or team success?

Any owner who refused to integrate would be a good example.

Carroll was fired after one year and the Jets knew that was a mistake. I used to hear about that **** all the time in NY. BB, I can't comment on his time in Cleveland, I didn't watch many Cle games then. I just don't think Josh is a good HC. This is the guy that drafted "Tim i'm still learning mechanics in 2014 Tebow" with a first round pick.

Pretty sure I just have you an example about how your statement that billionaires are never racist was stupid.

You didn't provide any example of that happening, you just posed a question. Name a situation that knowingly a coach was hired over another coach because of physical attributes over the last lets say 15 yrs.

Plus it's Daniels, Mangini, Crennel, Weiss, Pioli, Schiano, all terrible. Why do they keep going back to that well?

Yes I do.  There's a difference from a person (be it a billionaire in this case) having a good business vision versus someone having a good sports vision.  Just because you're a billionaire doesn't mean you know everything.  Jerry Jones for example is a billionaire but most believe he has bypassed a coach or two that can help his franchise.

How would I know that? I guess prejudice doesn't exist then. Your argument is straight idiotic. You probably think racism ended with Obama's election, too.

Did Jerry jones bypass because of their choice in hairstyle or because they had a fade or maybe they wore an earring ?

All you had to say was the first sentence from the start. To make accusations a guy was not hired because of hairstyle was "straight idiotic"

If you don't think the cornrows are any reason he doesn't have a job I don't know what to tell you.

What is this crap? This is sports, not a conservative law firm (even then, I've seen many lawyers with facial hair)

right, because after the fact they come out and say "yeah we hired this guy instead of that guy because of ________ physical quality".

looking like the guy in your avy, which i feel like you're going for anyways.
