Is it possible, going down from 12 mil to 8 mil, Dumerville and his agent tried to purposely send the fax late, ensuring the extra 4 mil if Denver wasn't payin attention? I mean, that's a 4 million dollar piece of paper affected by 60 "accidentally late" seconds if Denver wasn't standing by the fax machine.

I read the 4mil was already paid out through a prorated bonus and doesnt count as an extra payday.

Not sure how that works though
Pretty sure he was referring to the $4 million difference in total salary Dumervil would have been guaranteed had they not cut him before the deadline.

Ah ok, Gotcha.

Well.....we still haven't gotten Revis, but we've signed Kevin Ogletree and now Tom Crabtree.

CROWN US.

Packer fans, what do you think we do about our RB situation now that we lost out on SJax and Jennings left? Bradshaw, re-sign Benson? or the draft which has boded so well for us at this position |I

At this point I expect either benson back or TT drafting a RB. Will it be Lacy early or a 4th round back? That we don't know. Because what ever you expect TT to do, he will do the opposite.

Packer fans...what do you think of Tom Crabtree? Every time I saw a Packer game it seemed like he was making a sneaky good play and was loved by everybody on the team. I honestly didn't even know he was a tight end because I always saw him lined up as a WR.

Yeah I feel you. I'm praying we draft Montee Ball, but that's never going to happen. If we resign Benson then hopefully he can at least play as half as good as he did in Cincy, he was actually starting to pick it up before he got injured.

Damn we lost Tom Crabtree now?

Dudes a maniac.

Nooooooooo! :\ We're just letting everybody go. You'd think they would have tried to sign him with the uncertainty about Finley. Maybe Ryan Taylor will step into his role

I love crabtree, I think his success was because of Rodgers and how the Packers used him. Hopefully they Bucs will be able to find a good way to utilize him as well.

Scott Piolo on NFL network saying Patrick Chung is the secret free agent steal...  No wonder this guy got fired
I still praise him for messing up that fake punt vs. the Jets in the playoffs.

"You did good kid, you did good".

Aqib Talib back in the fold in New England.......

Betting on himself by taking a 1 year deal.
I think that'll pay off for him.  The market was terrible for CBs this year, and he's gonna thrive there and show he's not a troublemaker etc.

Talib should be the last dude to take a one year "prove it" deal. Dude gets injured every other week and could end up punching a cab driver in the face or pistol whipping somebody in that amount of time. Guarantee Mike Wallace is going to eat him to shreds whenever they play the Dolphins. I remember he got tore up by him a couple years ago even when it was Charlie Batch throwing Wallace the ball. Talib will be lucky that the Jets and Bills don't really have anybody too noteworthy that could bust his *** twice this year. He'll flash some occasional great plays but also have games where he gets straight up embarrassed/toasted/destroyed.
