guess nobody noticed mile high stadium was OUTDOORS...and peyton performed there mighty well...why on earth would metlife deter him???

one and done, outdoors, in the cold, at mile high....he's not the same QB outdoors sub 40 degrees. it's been proven again and again...

Yep, and there's another QB who is beginning to struggle at the end of seasons, too. :nerd: Father Time is starting to catch these guys. :frown:

They just tend to fall off at the end of the season for no apparent reason. :nerd:

i thougt they played well against the giants ...giants where just a better team.

and you can make more mistakes when you're better....that team had

no business in the superbowl but i'll be damned if tommy didnt come within

one or two plays from winning it

and talib and ridley going down killed us against the ravens

ive just come to terms wit the fact that we're always gonna struggle

against the giants, steelers and ravens but when healthy i think we can

beat anyone , anywhere.

Rolando McClain settles 2-year-old lawsuit with Alabama student

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama -- Former Alabama football player Rolando McClain has settled a lawsuit accusing him of hitting a student with a vehicle and physical assault in 2008.

McClain and Stanford Matthew Mangham, the Alabama student, filed in late March a joint stipulation of dismissal of all claims. That ends one legal issue in Alabama for McClain, now an NFL linebacker for the Oakland Raiders, while other matters remain from a more recent incident.

Mangham said in his suit that McClain intentionally hit him with a vehicle twice on Nov. 13, 2008, left the scene to secure other Alabama football players to intimidate him, and then verbally and physically assaulted him again. Mangham had claimed he needed multiple dental procedures and oral surgery to treat permanent injuries and was seeking at least $75,000 in punitive damages.

McClain denied the allegations in court documents. One of his defenses was that damages complained of by Mangham "were caused and/or contributed by his own negligence and/or the negligence of others."

The case was scheduled for trial on June 5. Attorneys for both sides declined to say if McClain paid Mangham as part of the settlement. The motion for dismissal said each party was required to pay its court costs.

"The matter has been resolved to the mutual benefit of both parties," said Jay Ezelle, McClain's attorney.

McClain is also scheduled for trial on May 17 for allegedly punching a man, threatening to kill him and firing a pistol near his ear last November in Decatur. McClain pleaded not guilty and also faces a lawsuit over the incident. McClain's attorney in that case, Billy C. Burney II, has previously said the linebacker denies firing a gun and being involved in the fight.

Oh, I'm not saying he turns into Andy Dalton or Matt Schaub once December rolls around, he's just been showing signs of fatigue the last two years. His YPA dropped to 7, completion percentage dropped to 58.5% and his TD-to-INT ratio was 10-to-5 in December last season. Coulda been a lot of factors, but Tommy the Texans Killer is hitting that point in a QBs career that I hate to see. :\ :smh:

why you gotta remind that my dude only has maybe 3 or 4 years left in the league? feels batman |I

He's surrounded by a great young cast, solid running game, and doesn't need to sling it downfield nearly as much. Barring an injury, he'll be at the top (or near it) of the league until he retires. You won't have to worry about Favre-like crap.

Not that I would mind that. :D

talks of Sanchez being added on with Revis to the Bucs.

That'd be an incredible move by Idzik if he gets this done.
Sanchez will forever be my guy though. smh
