Cot damn, the NFL loves Peyton. After that weak schedule last season, they give the Broncos the weakest schedule this season.

They'll go 12-4 with an encore 1 and done in the playoffs

i stopped paying attention to strength of schedule. its not really a good indicator. last year the broncos had the toughest schedule and by week 7 or so it was not that bad. this year they have the easiest strength of schedule but if you look at the actual schedule, it is no walk in the park.

Though the AFC South wasn't all that great when Peyton was still there..but the AFC East and West is on some other level of crappy competition
i think the chargers and chiefs will have a better year. afc west was crap last year other than the broncos.

Falcons get no love, man.

They're a good football team.

I guess I'm one of the few. That thinks ATL is gonna be real problem this year.

NOBODY is talking about them getting Stephen Jackson. If he stays healthy we will be the biggest pick up this offseason.

With Another year under Julio's belt he is only gonna get better. Along with Roddy and Tony add S.Jax to that its going to be hard to stop them dudes.

Not to mention they finally got that Monkey of their backs. That was a huge step last year.

The AFC overall is pretty awful

Not sure what James is going to do in Cincy, and of this means Dansby isn't signed by them then that is better for the division

Not sure if serious, but all but two opponents are predetermined every year

i'll post this in multiple threads too...

people need to learn about how schedules are put together....the league doesn't "make" them easy or tough for teams

This. You play the teams in your division, some division winners, and another conference (don't know how that one works), and the other conference you play is every 4 years, rotating home and away. So when people use these "strength of schedule" arguments, it's nothing but LOL.

**hmm, guess i missed the last page

They're a great regular season team but why should anybody show a team love that has won one playoff game in 5 years

And how many had Seattle won in the past 5 years ? 2 right ? Some like that ? But you'll ride then till dooty hole hurts

I don't think I have ever talked about them maybe when they signed Bennett and Harvin, I look at the Seahawks as a team that just started a new era last year they have one playoff win and thats, their future looks bright and that's all the praise I'll give them until they take the next step

The Ryan/Smith has been at this for 5 years and have one playoff victory, when they have success in the post season they'll get their proper respect, until then they are just a great regular season team and you know it

He's going to play the run and rush on 3rd down just like he's done in Pittsburgh.

I just don't see him doing a ton from the 4-3 perspective, and if he has to cover anyone look out. He is perfect for the outside and straight rush the line every down. Whenever he has to do more it rarely goes well. Zimmmer will find something for him and if not it will be a one and down contract. I'm excited to see all the hypocritical comments from Bengals fans about him once he makes a play (not people on here but you know the type)

I know his coverage is awful, and that's why I preferred Dansby. They definitely know that he's bad in coverage too, and I'm sure he'll be run/pass rush only. Our LB corp is so slow. Pissed they kept Rey because we still have one of the worst coverage LB corps in the league.

The worst thing is how many national TV games the Chargers have. I don't get it? That team is bad and even worse, is boring.

Jets should be banned from night games as a penalty for last season. I'd like to see Bucs V Carolina.

No doubt, and that Dline helps them look as good as possible. if Burfict keeps improving that will help. Rey is just confused out there. I wonder if he will ever 'get it'

I think they should make a rule for the Lions and Cowboys to both have winning records in order to play on Thanksgiving the next year..

I get the tradition, but I'm tired of seeing the same teams every year.

Honestly they should have SB rematch highlight the night cap.

The 49ers played the Ravens just two years ago though in the regular season

i think the thanksgiving day game should always be a rivalry type game....cowboys and ********...lions and packers. something like that. keep it a divisional matchup. they can get fancy with the night game if they'd like.

i will say that i HATE when the pats play on thanksgiving. absolutely hate it. want to enjoy that day of eating, drinking, and watching football in peace. don't want to deal with stressing out about my team having to win

I agree with the rivalries, but broaden it to the whole division. Have them rotate. I always love watching the Vikings on Thanksgiving. They usually play Dallas though.

Our games vs the Panthers and Falcons over the past few years have been some great ones. Too bad not much of anyone has seen them if you don't live in the southeast.
