I know this, and I'm not guaranteeing anything. Things seem to be falling into place for this to be a great year, but it's all going to depend on which Freeman comes out.

i think the dolphins are gonna pretty much be the same record as last year.

losing reggie is gonna hurt and i think Dion is too small to make an impact this year as a 4-3 End.

alot of teams are picking them to be a surprise team but i dont see it.

It makes sense moving the NFL Draft to May. Time to the same time as colleges end the Spring Semester

Get some glasses.

Tannehill with a full year under his belt, better receiving options, 2 young backs better suited for zone blocking schemes than Bush who did jack **** last year.

Then one of the best front 7's took out 2 30 something LBers for 2 faster, younger guys that are better at blitzing. They add Jordan opposite Wake while still getting Vernon some more coaching as well, then trade in Sean Smith for a healthy Richard Marshall, Brent Grimes and Jamar Taylor while also improving the pass rush a bit outside of just Wake.

They aren't winning 12 games, but they are MUCH better, deeper, younger, and better suited to Philbin's style than the old Sparano holdovers.

9 or 10 wins is quite doable.

i actually have some glasses on, thanks old timer.

put away your monocle and remove the bias.

i just said i didnt see it, thats all.

9 or 10 wins is doable, its football, anything can happen on any given sunday, i just dont see it, esp with your rotation this year including the AFC North and NFC South.

I really like that Dolphins team and think they can definitely win 9-10 games this year. That defense is gonna be nice and Wallace will add a dimension they haven't had. Didn't they add Keller too? Or some other tight end

Keller and drafted Dion Sims. Which is better than Fasano.

Wallace/Hartline >>>>>>Hartline/Bess

Better LB core

More pass rush

Better secondary.

QB improvement.

2 one cut RB's instead of pitter patter Reggie dancing behind the line.

"I don't see it".

Although you do have to have good players on your team to win, I don't much care to look too deeply at Miami's personnel because throwing together a bunch of upgrades has failed teams in the past. While on paper they're better, I look more towards how competitive they were under Philbin last year. Dolphins always seem to be a tough damn team when people don't expect much out of them and I don't think this certain group will be any different. I wasn't sure what to think about the Philbin higher, but he surprised me last year. Wins can be had in that division as well.

Teams that are the most noticeable in March aren't the most noticeable in January and February. Just ask the Bucs fan you're bantering with.

We aren't what Philly or the Skins were a few years back tho, we merely filled some holes. Like lack of speed/production at WR. Wallace doesn't have to become Calvin Johnson or anything, but he at least gives us a threat, an aspect we did not have last year. Safeties have to back up an extra step or two, which helps the run game, etc etc.

Our LBers are now faster than last year. Dansby and Burnett are good solid vets, but they were slow as hell last year, gave us nothing in terms of blitzing the QB, didn't help much in pass coverage, and now we added 2 younger guys that are faster, better blitzers, and can help at least some in coverage.

We didn't just sign QB, WR, RB, OL, TE, CB, S, and LB and say dream team, we filled legit holes. Some will work, some will not. Maybe Grimes doesn't come back from injury all the way. Well, we drafted Jamar Taylor and Will Davis. One of them will step up.

We spent a lot of money, yes, but we also backed that up with 20 draft picks the last 2 years, giving us youth/depth to build with as well, not just free agent vets lookin to get paid. We also signed 3-4 guys to 1 year deals, meaning they should play their *** off for their next contract, be it with us, or someone else. Either way, no long term damage.

The blueprint is set, Tannehill needs a Flacco/Ryan type progression. Get better each year, 3-4 years, then when he's 28-29-30, try to be in position to make a run of some sort.

Understood. But this team is being built thru the draft, not just FA. Those were just pieces we could add without using Draft Picks.

The core of this team is all drafted. Wallace is the lone piece that we hope to blend in on O, Ellerbee on D.

Tannehill, Miller, Martin, Pouncey, Hartline, Gillislee, Sims, Thomas, Jerry all draft picks on O.

Soliai, Jones, Taylor, Misi, Taylor (CB), Davis, Clemons, Odrick, Wake was a signee a few years back, with Ellerbee now added.

We aren't just scooping up every FA in the game, we merely had the most money to use, plus 2 straight years of 11ish Draft picks or so at our disposal.

they def can like i said, but apparently im wrong for thinking that it could go the other way also, that all these new personal decisions are just going to work right away and Tannehill is supposed to make this flawless jump, Keller should ball for them.

Phins always play hard, then sputter for a few games, 2nd place in that division is def up for grabs, they play the Pats hard, the jets, are well the jets, and the bills relying on Kolb or EJ.

championships are won are paper during the off season, you didnt hear?
So much discussion over a prediction that wasn't even that outlandish

I noticed you've been lurking in there too....MMG ain't keeping you company huh

Miami Dolphins seem more like a 8-9 win team than 10-11 (playoffs). I suppose time will tell how much improvement has been made through player personnel.

What's the infatuation with Tanny? Serious question. I'm moderately cold on him as a franchise Q.

Figuring the Pats for the East and Broncos for the West, whoever wins the South between the Colts and Texans the other team is definitely gonna win the first WC. That leaves the North. Ravens and Cincy are question marks (Ravens might fall off and Cincy might not make the leap especially with how they ended the season; losing to a team they shouldn't have in the Cowboys, struggling vs Steelers and Eagles, and only beating the Ravens after they pulled starters) but one of them is gonna win it. That leaves one team they're really competing with and kind of the Steelers. Plus someone said they play the AFCN, they can get the H2H games in.

They did go 7-9 last year. Not a big stretch.
