brutal , the real question is would hbo keep it going or concede ?

It won't have to be 31 teams turning down they almost at that point now. People want to see the playoff teams or teams with Big name rookies or just some compelling story. Bengals ain't got **** going on.

I for one i'm not tuning in cause I'm not a fan of the Bengals. I would love to see a Saints or 49ers one.

this wouldve been the perfect season for that with the return of sean, rob ryan comming in, and the scandal over

Jets arent winning more than 4 or 5 games regardless if Geno starts or not.

Plus he isn't this franchise saving QB.
Putin camp: Kraft's story 'weird'
A spokesman for Vladimir Putin maintains that the Russian President received Robert Kraft's Super Bowl ring in 2005 as a gift and said the New England Patriots' owner's claims that Putin took it without permission is "weird."

Kraft, who was honored at Carnegie Hall's Medal of Excellence gala at the Waldorf-Astoria on Thursday, told the crowd at the event that Putin took his Super Bowl XXXIX ring when the Patriots' owner visited St. Petersburg, Russia, in 2005, even though he released a statement at the time saying he gave the ring to Putin as a gift.

"I took out the ring and showed it to [Putin], and he put it on and he goes, 'I can kill someone with this ring,'" Kraft told the crowd, according to the New York Post. "I put my hand out and he put it in his pocket, and three KGB guys got around him and walked out."

A spokesman for Putin, however, told CNN on Sunday that the ring was definitely given as a gift.

"What Mr. Kraft is saying now is weird," Dmitry Peskov told CNN. "I was standing 20 centimeters away from him and Mr. Putin and saw and heard how Mr. Kraft gave this ring as a gift."

Peskov told CNN that the ring now is at the Kremlin's library.

A spokesman for the Kraft Group released a statement Sunday, clarifying Kraft's remarks, noting that Sandy Weill, who is the board of trustees chairman of Carnegie Hall, introduced Kraft on Thursday night and was with the Patriots owner on the trip to Russia in 2005.

"It's a humorous, anecdotal story that Robert re-tells for laughs. He loves that his ring is at the Kremlin and, as he stated back in 2005, he continues to have great respect for Russia and the leadership of President Putin," the statement said. "In particular, he credits President Putin for modernizing the Russian economy. An added benefit from the attention this story gathered eight years ago was the creation of some Patriots fan clubs in Russia."

On Thursday night, Kraft told the crowd that he really wanted the 4.94-carat bauble back, admitting he'd gotten a call from the George W. Bush-run White House, saying, 'It would really be in the best interest of United States-Soviet relations if you meant to give the ring as a present.' "

This wasn't the first time the story surfaced, as Kraft's late wife, Myra, said in 2007 that the ring wasn't intended to be a gift.
Putin don't play, man. Straight G'd my guy Kraft.

They're gonna send Tebow out on a mission to retrieve the ring.

I have a feeling the Jets won't be as bad as most think they'll be. Rex Ryan will have that defense ready to play, without Revis last year they were still top 10. The AFC is real weak, I think Ivory will be a very good RB and the Winslow addition should help them. He can put up numbers still, he just is kinda a douche. That's 95% of the reason he had been unsigned as long as he had been. Holmes will be back too and hopefully Stephen Hill will be able to walk and chew gum at the same time without getting hurt.

If all the teams keep turning HBO down, I could see Goodell forcing his will upon the NFL and making certain teams agree to having HBO there during training camp.  As some sort of media friendly outlet for fans or something.

Sanchez still the QB and the offense overall sucks, probly like 12 ppg for them

I don't think we'll be as bad as most think. The Jet defense will be ready to go, Rex is a awesome D-cord. He won't let them fail due to pure scheme alone. Couples isn't learning a new position really, he is just rushing the passer standing up. He's not going to be in coverage. Plus he was drafted because of his natural pass rushing ability. Now, I know I'll get shelled for this but I think for the first time in his carrer Mark will be in a offense that plays to his strengths as a QB. The system that Marty is installing will benefit him. Either way, Geno is waiting in the wings and Mark's back is up against the wall. He's got to come out swinging.

****** Oline

Homles coming off that injury along with a unproven WR corps

Cant generate a pass rush

Not to mention asking a Couples to learn a new posistion

plus the back end of that defense

not to mention Sanchez is the starter, and if not him, a Rookie in Geno Smith.

Ivory was the good down in Nola..... with Brees at the helm.

6 wins max.

not to mention they play the NFC south / AFC north in their rotations.

When Ivory came in the game we basically knew they were running the ball every time and he still killed us every damn time. Guy is the goods...Jets got themselves a good one there. Jets fans that I've talked to seem to have a lot of hope in Couples being a real good player for them this year. But you're right about them playing the NFC South and AFC North this year. They might not win any of those games except the Panthers and Browns.

Lol Putin prob did it for kicks that guy could be 1000 sb rings and I hope the jets get 6 wins I was expecting like 2 max lol
