Luck aint better than Russel Wilson this ***** Jaws be messing up and Matt Shaub a top 10 QB im i missing something???

   wasn't jaws trying to get tebow to QB his arena team after the jets cut him? this dude's credibility was shot at that point, for me. anytime he speaks, i turn the channel.

If you think Luck isn't better than Wilson, yes, you are missing something.
Sorry but I definitely don't see how Luck is ahead of RG3, Wilson, and Kap on all these lists with considerably worse statistics.
Its not just about statistics.  Its about what was asked of the kid.  Luck had a substantially worse situation than any of the other QBs you mentioned.  He was also asked to do more than any of the guys you listed.  The Colts success last season is almost 100% attributed to him.  You cant say the same about the other three.

Football is the one sport that I feel statistics dont come close to telling the entire story.

Colts go from a 2 win team to an 11 win team. Outside of Reggie Wayne and a bunch of rookies, who exactly did they have on offense last season?

CP gets a Rock clapping gif from me for his last post in regards to Romo

Schaub's been an 8-12 QB for awhile now. Still applies, though I'd personally have him at 11 or 12 at this moment.

It's like they've never heard of Andrew Luck before.

Dude is Peyton Manning 2.0

I like Russ, he's a lot of fun, but **** man.

Didnt Manning have the same team with Dallas clark at TE and the defense....

Vick Ballard, the colts leading rusher, was a rookie. TY Hilton, their second leading receiver, was a rookie.

^ Look at that list of players and tell me that the talent level on Seattle and Indianapolis are even close to the same...

Did we not just get done saying stats definitely aren't the end all be all in evaluating a football player?

If I had to choose one I'd take Luck. I like Wilson, but I'd take Andrew. Regardless both teams probably happy with their situations

The guy went from being compared to the greatest draft pick in Draft history just one year ago to being ranked behind a 5-11 QB during a rookie season in which his team jumped 9 Wins.

Do the Seahawks still make the postseason without replacement ref Hail Mary's? Kinda need to adjust that W-L record and subtract a TD to add an INT don't ya? :nerd:

It's like y'all think I'm crapping on Russ or something -- I'm not. He's one of my favorite QBs in the league and I knew he'd be the goods coming out of college. I just think that turning the worst team in the NFL into a playoff team means a little more. Seattle's a solid squad... Indy was rolling with rookies at damn near every offensive position.

lol because your dolphins didn't win off that BS roughing the passer.
therefor if you want to take the GB win away we should take the mam loss away. also nothing would have changed in seeding if we lost to GB

Oh I agree, I just don't see how you can say it's obvious Luck is better or how he's consistently ranked higher. I saw him throw some BAD picks where RG3 had superhuman accuracy. Besides, the ******** had been bad a lot longer than the colts were.

Are there any NON Seattle fans claiming Russell Wilson is a better QB than Andrew Luck? Can I get a show of hands please?

NON Seattle fans.

Ok, that's fair then, I was asking to be sure.

Never said Wilson was better.

I think RG3 had the best rookie season.

Andrew Luck's skillset and ceiling is far superior to that of Russell Wilson.

What we saw from Wilson's rookie season is close to the best we'll witness in years to come. Will he get better? Yes. By leaps and bounds? No. His potential is more limited than Luck's or RG3's.

I don't understand the basis of this statement.  And I reiterate I'm not claiming Wilson is better than either.
